According to the Ministry of Health (2014) The government has set a national target of exclusive breastfeeding was 80%. According to the provincial health profiles eastern Java in 2016, the realization of exclusive breastfeeding in East Java was 74.3%. And according to data from Public Health Coverage Health Office Malang 2017 babies breastfed exclusively in Malang district in 2012-2016 were as follows in 2012 coverage of exclusive breastfeeding by 57%, in 2013 by 64%, in 2014 by 66.6%, in 2015 amounted to 64.9%, and in 2016 amounted to 69.9%, for the achievement of exclusive breastfeeding in the village srigading is 70% (data sub-district puskesmas Lawang, 2016). This shows that exclusive breastfeeding outcomes do not meet the government's target of 80%. Not to achieving the target of exclusive breastfeeding in the village of Srigading caused by a lack of knowledge,based on a preliminary study conducted in December 2017 - March 2018 in the village of Srigading, District Lawang Malang shows that the percentage of knowledge of pregnant women about the knowledge of the importance of exclusive breastfeeding at 51% included in the category of less, evident from the scores obtained in the questionnaire about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding less than 60%. The general objective of the study is to analyze the effect of counseling with the posters and leaflets against penegtahuan pregnant women about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding Srigading In the village, District Lawang, Malang. This research was conducted in Srigading In the village, District Lawang, Malang. On May 2, 2018. The research is a Quasi experimental research design with one group pretest posttest.Instrument study is a consent form to respondents, Problem pretestposttest the importance of exclusive breastfeeding, Stationery, Posters, Leaflets and list of attendees. The samples used were 20 pregnant women in the village srigading.
The results showed that there were differences before and after the extension services provided by the posters and leaflets the level of knowledge of pregnant women about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding. There is the influence of media (posters and leaflets) to the knowledge of pregnant women about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding, and the most influential media in changing knowledge of pregnant women is Leaflet.
