Dear Editor,

We wish to submit an original research article entitled “Morpho-Semantic of Predicate in Indonesian” for consideration by the Journal of Language Teaching and Research.

We confirm that this work is original and has not been published elsewhere, nor is it currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.

The paper shows that Indonesian's predicate can be filled in by verb and non-verb categories, namely noun, adjective, preposition, and numeral. Theoretically, it is significant because it shows the Indonesian language characteristics that are different from other languages, especially English. Practically, this information will be useful for Indonesian language teachers, English teachers in Indonesia, and

Indonesian language teachers for foreign learners to understand more about the Indonesian language and use it to anticipate students' problems in studying Indonesian or English.
