David Rawson, foreign service officer with the Department of State, will speak at Monday's "Lunch and Learn" program at noon in the Porter Room of the Union Building. Recently stationed at Bamako, capital of Mali in West Africa, Rawson is knowledgeable about U.S. policy in Africa and African military affairs.

Visitors may either bring their own lunch or get a tray from the mezzanine cafeteria. No reservations are required. Call the Office of International Programs, Ext. 7294, for more information.

Displays -- Pharmacy displays this week in University Hospital will be Abbott Laboratories on Monday, Encyclopedia Britannica on Wednesday and Chesebrough

Ponds Inc., Division of Professional Products on Friday. Mead-Johnson Laboratories will have a display in Riley Hospital on Wednesday.

Grand Round~ -- "Aortic Valve Disease: Natural History and Selection for Surgery,"

grand rounds presentation by Dr. J. O'Neal Humphries, Robert L. Levy Professor of Cardiology at the Johns HopkinE School of Medicine; Wednesday at 8:15 a.m.

Info -- An information night for I.U.'s new External Degree Program will be open to the public on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. ~n the auditorium of the 38th Street Administration Building. The program is specifically designed

as a "personal degree" opportunity for busy adults -- persons who, for work-related, economic, personal or geographical reasons, have found it impossible to get a

Party -- A reception for Ruell Fiant, manager-payroll who-will be leaving the university, will be held Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Payroll Office, Allied Health Building, Room 219.

Flick -- "The Sound of Music" is this week's choice in the "Film Classics under the Stars" series at the Indianapolis Museum of Art on the Concert Terrace. Time is 8:30 p.m. Admission is $1 for IMA members, students and senior citizens, and

$2 for non-members.

Leaving -- David E;. Bohner, assistant director of hospitals since September, 1974, has announced his plans to resign that position August l to become the associate administrator of Mercy Hospital at Port Huron, Michigan.

Volunteer~ -- Studies in hypertension research require subjects with documented high blood pressure who are willing to participate in a three-week protocol to assess effects of salt intake on blood pressure. Must be male and between 18 and 40 years old with no other diseases. If interested, please call Dr. Laura Rankin or Becky Sloan, Ext. ·7453 or Ext. 7454.
