Testing -- At least 150 candidates for certification by the American Board of Toxicology, Inc. will be at the Medical Center Monday to take the examination, reports Dr. Robert B. Forney, professor of toxicology. The board is a nonprofit organization that validates the credentials of toxicologists involved in chemical safety evaluation and encourages continuing education in toxicology.
Oncological -- "Ovarian Tumors," grand rounds in oncology presentation by Dr.
Lawrence Roth; Radiation Therapy Building, Room Rl04, 11 a.m. Wednesday. This tumor conference is open to all residents and medical, dental and nursing students.
Thriller -- "Night Watch," a thriller about a "corpse-less" murder, goes on stage Thursday at the Brown County Playhouse in Nashville. Members of the Brown County Company, which is made up of I.U. theater students, will present the show at 8 p.m.

Seminar -- "Statistical Issues in Interpretation of Chronic Bioassay Tests for Carcinogenicity," seminar by Dr. John J. The Original -- The first "Star Is Born," the 1937 version with Fredric March, Janet Gaynor and Adolphe Menjou, will be shown Friday at 8:30 p.m. on the concert terrace at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.

NEWS 'N' NOTES FROM HERE 'N' THERE
High School Program -- Registration for the fall semester of the High School Program
will be conducted August 25-27 in University Hospital, Room C420, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Interested persons should attend one of these sessions. Classes begin September 2.
The program is coordinated with the Adult Division of the Indianapolis Public Schools and offers the basic high school courses to persons wanting to obtain a high school diploma. High school graduates who need to review some specific subject area or who need subjects for college deficiencies are also eligible to attend. Student Artist Craig M. Ogden, a student at the Herron School of Art, has an exhibit called "Hyatt Sights" in, appropriately enough, the atrium of the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The show, with artwork ranging from watercolors to graphics, will be on display through August.
How to Manage -- A three-day seminar on basic management skills for the new or prospective manager will be held August 19-21 in the Union Building. Topics will include decision making, motivation, communication and setting objectives. For information, call the School of Business, 812-337-0229.
Session -- The scientific session of the Indiana Thoracic Society will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Brown County Ramada Inn at Nashville. Dr. Ronald Roberts of the

Call for Papers -- The Third Annual Intercultural Training Conference/Workshop, sponsored by IUPUI, the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom and the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research, will be held at the University of Bradford July 13-17, 1981. Food -- The IUPUI Day Care Center will sponsor a Child Care Food Program, beginning August 27 when the center opens. Meals (breakfast for youngsters arriving before 9 a.m., lunch and an afternoon snack) will be provided.
Scholarship Winners -- Two seniors in the School of Medicine, Jeffrey Mark Moseman and Maxwell Sobel, are the first recipients of the newly endowed Arthur B. Richter Scholarship in child psychiatry. The awards, $600 each, will be given annually to two seniors on the basis of their overall standing in their medical studies, their grades and performance in psychiatry courses and their interest in helping young people.
