The authors compared solar dryers with hot air from a heat exchanger double furnace during the drying of white turmeric. The research was carefully done and the paper is in general in good shape. The following changes should be made before the paper can be accepted for publication:

1. The Abstract should be slightly expanded.

2. It does not seem the first footnote is necessary because the same information is already in the address.

3. Figure 1 looks a little fuzzy. Please improve the image quality

4. It is unacceptable to use the English letter x for multiplication (see Eqs. (1), (4), (7) etc.). Similarly, using decimal points for multiplication (e.g., Eqs. (6) and (8)) is also unacceptable.

5. It will be helpful to fitted curve lines in Figs. 3, 4, 5 and 6(a) to demonstrate the trend more clearly.

6. Conclusion part should be in bullet format.
