Involvement Project Goal: Fulfill Magnet requirement for Source of Evidence SE10 "Nurses take part in the assessment and prioritization of the healthcare needs of the community: provide evidence of an improvement in an identified healthcare need that was associated with nurses' partnership with the
community" by creating an enterprise wide community healthcare project that represents our nurses and can be conducted on a yearly basis.
Objectives:
Work with the Shared Leadership Council to develop an enterprise wide community involvement program
Aim for all nurses to be able to identify and assess community needs.
Outpatient/Clinic
Project - Access Goal: Increase patients’ access for primary and specialty care. Aim to get half of all new patients
seen within seven days in primary care with a goal of 90% of all patients seen within two days.
Objectives:
Work with outpatient clinics and referrals to develop a standard best practice to meet this goal.
Address a national issue as well as one that is very important to the organization.
Manage data analyses, countermeasure development and the ability to explore advanced practice provider models in collaboration with the traditional physician access model.
Preparing Nurses for International Nursing Leadership Roles and Education
Goal: Develop an international nurse curriculum for both visiting international nurses and an educational curriculum teaching the role of the American Nurse. Business plan and tool box.

Apply concepts regarding the future of nursing in the United States that are shaped by an array of factors and forces that are global and shaped by concurrent
international factors.
Incorporate diversity in healthcare
populations and nursing workforce to ensure improved culturally sensitive care, activism, professional accountability and advocacy at all levels of nurse leaders.
Employ data analyses, countermeasure development and begin curriculum-planning exercises.
