The new technologies and scientific breakthroughs are relentless and are unfolding on many fronts. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome all participants, from abroad and within Indonesia, to participate in the 3

rd

International Conference on Sustainable Infrastructure (ICSI 2020). This Conference is organized by Department of Civil Engineering and Planning, Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University in order to respond the latest infrastructure-related developments, both nationally and globally.

Due to the global pandemic of Covid-19, ICSI 2020 is held virtually on the 5

th

of October 2020.

However, we are hoping that its aims to provide a platform for sharing of knowledge and ideas among practitioners, researchers and scientists from both the academia and the industry remains the same.

The infrastructure we are building today will shape tomorrow’s communities. Sustainable infrastructure refers to the designing, building, and operating of these structural elements in ways that do not diminish the social, economic and ecological processes required to maintain human equity, diversity, and the functionality of natural systems. Despite some progress, most developing countries still suffer from insufficient infrastructure access, quality and reliability.

This Conference is focusing on sustainability in the built environment, presenting relevant engineering research, ideas, demonstrations, and applications that contribute to the competitiveness and human well- being. It will provide a showcase for the latest developments and advancements in all aspects of planning, design, construction, technology, policy and education related to sustainable infrastructure and also offers a forum to discuss and debate future directions for the 21

st

Century.

In order to have higher impact, the Organizing Committee also invited speakers from highly reputable international universities to share new ideas, latest developments and advancements in all aspects of planning, design, construction technology, and policy related to sustainable infrastructure. RELEVANCE ANALYSIS OF THE COMPETENCIES OFFERED BY VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS AND THE COMPETENCIES NEEDED BY CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRIES: A CASE STUDY AT SMKN 2 DEPOK, SLEMAN - YOGYAKARTA

Abstract. This research aimed to evaluate the relevance level of competencies offered by the Design and Building Information Modelling Study Program at Vocational High School 2 in Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta-Indonesia (shortly SMKN 2 Depok) with competencies needed by construction industries. This research employed a quantitative-descriptive research approach.

The population of the research was construction companies in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.

The sampling technique was purposive sampling technique involving 8 (eight) construction companies. The data, collected from questionnaires, was analysed using quantitative descriptive statistical analysis. The result of this research shows that the mean values of each expertise sub- competencies in the the subjects of: software application and building interior design, construction Cost Estimation, utility and Building constructionn, and road and Bridge construction were 82% (very relevant), 90% (very relevant), 89% (very relevant), and 82% (very relevant) respectively. Overall, the relevance level of competencies offered by Design and Building Information Modelling Study Program at SMKN 2 Depok is in the “very relevant”

category (86%), which is 82 competencies are in the “very relevant” category, 8 competencies are in the “relevant” category, and none is in the “less relevant” and “very irrelevant” categories compared to the competence needed by the construction industries.

Abstract. Currently, the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry is facing enormous technological and institutional transformations with their resultant difficulties and challenges. The industry is embracing new modes of information sharing and adopting emerging and fast-growing concepts such as building information modelling (BIM), sustainability, virtual collaboration and related technologies. The changing pace of design and technology within the construction industry has inevitably led to a certain amount of confusion along the way. As new methods, processes and software arrive, some will manifest as developments of older forms while others might develop in parallel - seeming superficially similar but in fact intended to be used for distinctly different applications. The purpose of this research is to gain a prototype of learning process using recent technology on construction industry, to help the learner achieved the required capability and specialized technical competence, as mentioned on ASCE Policy 465.

The use of recent technology in teaching and education, especially in the construction industry will lead both teacher and student to develop the skill required by the industry.

STRATEGIC APPROACH IN HUMAN RESOURCE

MANAGEMENT AT CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES IN INDONESIA

Abstract. This research was carried out to take a strategic approach to Human Resources Management, especially in construction companies in Indonesia. This was done to complement previous research with a wider scope of 20 large contractor companies that have handled infrastructure projects and selected randomly throughout Indonesia. Data retrieval instruments use questionnaire techniques or questionnaires, followed by observations and interviews to dig deeper into information. The data obtained is processed using descriptive data analysis and plotted on a mapping diagram of HR management. Data processing is also carried out using the SPSS program to test the validity and reliability of data against findings in the field. The results of the research obtained are information related to the mapping patterns of HR management in the field of construction as well as various factors that affect it, so that it is obtained the main factor that is the key to success in the implementation of HR management. The results of this study can be used as a reference for companies in making policies and determining the right strategies in an effort to improve the quality of their human resources so as to improve the company's performance in infrastructure and other fields. It is hoped that this research can support hr management systems within the scope of industry organizations more broadly to support government programs in realizing superior human resources for the sake of Indonesia's progress.

PHILANTROPY IN INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT SETTLEMENT

Abstract. One of the problems faced in settlement development today is the scarcity of funding sources for settlement infrastructure development. The urban settlement environment is faced with the problem of scarcity of infrastructure such as damaged roads, scarce sources of clean water, lack of sanitation systems and low waste, which have resulted in the decline in the quality of life of the community. Especially during the Covid 19 pandemic, where state revenue as the main basis for infrastructure funding could not reach the target as expected. Starting from this, efforts are needed to explore funding sources in the form of blended financing that do not only rely on the ability of state funding, but also alternative sources of funding, one of which is in the form of philanthropy. Philanthropy is defined as an effort to help other people, both individuals and groups, which is manifested by social charity in the form of funds or something else. The study was conducted in a descriptive manner based on the process that is developing in Indonesia.

The results of the study show that philanthropy develops in the form of community self-reliance through contingency funds, where in accessing environmental development funds from the government, the community must prepare various forms of self-reliance in the form of funds, energy and collective social agreements as a form of concern and togetherness in building the environment. Philanthropy is also carried out by private companies in the form of corporate social responsibility (CSR) as a form of corporate social responsiveness to the environment in which the company is located. The important implication of this study is that philanthropy has encouraged the growth of outcomes in the form of increased sense of belonging, community in socializing and community initiatives in caring for and managing the network system built from the ground up. The sustainability of infrastructure on a community scale will be more secure with future developments. The spirit of philanthropy needs to be continuously improved by involving other sources of financing such as private business entities as well as caring groups and potential individuals.

Abstract. The implementation of the competency test program by the government, both expert certification and skilled certification, is a manifestation of the realization of the competency Based curriculum (CBC) which is based on the link and match between educational institutions and industry. The competency certification program is more about providing opportunities for prospective workers to obtain certification (recognition) of their expertise as a provision to enter the world of work. Through competency certification, the existence of educational institutions will get more recognition by the industry regarding the curriculum used. The objectives of this study are, 1) to reveal how much the prospective workers’ perceptions of the implementation of the competency certification program in the civil engineering sector in terms of readiness to enter the world of work; 2) disclosing how easy it is for prospective workers to take part in the competency certification program in the field of civil engineering; and 3) reveal the obstacles faced by prospective workers in the competency certification program in the field of civil engineering. The method used in this study is a survey. The population used in this study were prospective workers who participated in the competency certification program in the field of civil engineering at Yogyakarta State University in 2020. The sample in this study was taken proportionally. The results of data collection were tabulated and analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results of the study can be explained, 1) the perception of prospective workers on the implementation of the competency certification program in the field of civil engineering in terms of readiness to enter the world of work are very good at 87.63%, this can be explained that prospective workers feel more confident after obtaining a certificate recognized by the industry; 2) the perception of prospective workers to participate in the competency certification program in the field of engineering civilian terms of easy access to program services is very good at 80.37%, this can be explained that prospective workers find it easy to participate in a series of activities certification if they meet the requirements submitted by industry; and 3) the obstacles faced by prospective workers in the competency certification program in the field of civil engineering in 2020 are implementation carried out online so that time is needed additional to deepen the training material, weak internet access signals to participate in material deepening activities, and practical ability certification activities are not can be done completely online.

Abstract. This study aims to discuss the business model of distribution in Eastern Indonesia, using descriptive qualitative methods and economic analysis. In general, the infrastructure available in developing countries is still very limited. Therefore, infrastructure is very important to be built immediately in order to support development in various fields. If the infrastructure in the fields of transportation, information, communication, energy and other physical facilities are available, then the dynamics of communities throughout the country will increase. Traffic in the economy, trade, industry and other social activities will become smoother and more developed.

Infrastructure development in various fields in Eastern Indonesia, which is funded by the government and various other sources of funds, continues to be carried out so that the Eastern Indonesia region, which was previously isolated and has limited public services, has gradually been resolved. Of course, development in the energy and electricity sector is also very much needed to develop Eastern Indonesia. However, it is generally known that the cost of producing electricity in Eastern Indonesia, is currently 2 to 5 times the cost of electricity production in the Western Indonesia. The reason is that there are still many uses of diesel power plants in Eastern Indonesia. Efforts to convert diesel to gas fuel have also not been optimal, because they are constrained by the absence of a gas pipeline network and the location of the existing power plants is far from the gas source. In addition, the construction of an extensive gas pipeline network in this area is certainly not feasible. The presence of gas-powered power plants is also in line with efforts to diversify energy, which strongly supports environmental conservation. There is one surefire way that needs to be intensified, namely by building a mini-scale Liquid Natural Gas infrastructure concept. This concept was developed to meet the needs of gas consumers who do not get piped gas rations or who need gas with a not too large volume, for example small capacity power plants located on various islands spread across the country, especially in the eastern part of Indonesia. is an archipelagic area so it is unlikely that the entire area will be connected by pipelines across the ocean, because it will certainly require a very large amount of funds. The application of mini LNG technology is the right solution for LNG supply in Eastern Indonesia.

If the energy infrastructure is available, then there must also be an increase in the quality of human resources so that they become human resources who are always active and always adapt to the era. the acceleration of the times, along with the world's competitiveness based on the latest technology. Improving the quality of human resources in Eastern Indonesia is of course very important in order to face globalization and future challenges and in turn there is sustainable development.

Abstract. Stability of land bearing capacity is one of the main determinants of environmental bearing capacity. The stability of bearing capacity of land is influenced by conditions and characteristics of the resources in the land. Capacity of supply in terms of land stability level for the allocation of land use is determined by stability of the land mass that forms the size of land, namely characteristics of engineering geology. The study was conducted in the city of Semarang by drilling and standard penetration testing (SPT) and taking 448 undisturbed soil samples scattered in the study area. Analysis of soil samples has been carried out in the laboratory to obtain the level of stability of the land both vertically and horizontally. Presentation of the distribution of land stability level is given in the form of info graphic to get a description of the level of land stability geographically. From this study, the value of land stability level permitted in the city of Semarang, namely the maximum amount of load that can be held without land failure occurs bearing capacity ranging from 0.201 kg/cm2 - 14.248 kg/cm2. The info graphic can be useful for spatial evaluation, engineering guidelines, and research in an environmental perspective in the city of Semarang.

PREDICTION OF DEFLECTION OF SINGLE-PILE NAILED-SLAB BY USING THE ALLOWABLE

EQUIVALENT MODULUS OF SUBGRADE REACTION

Abstract. An equivalent modulus of subgrade reaction was proposed for analyzing the Nailed- slab Pavement System. This modulus is defined by accumulating the modulus of subgrade of the slab and the additional modulus of subgrade reaction which contributed by a pile under the slab.

The additional modulus of subgrade reaction can be defined by the Modified Hardiyatmo Method. This method considers a safety factor as a replacement for the displacement factor. The safety factor is only considered for additional modulus of subgrade reaction. In this research, a safety factor will be considered for all modulus and is called a global safety factor. The allowable equivalent modulus of subgrade reaction is used as an equivalent modulus of subgrade reaction that considers a global safety factor. This research is aimed to learn the prediction of the slab deflection by using the allowable equivalent modulus of subgrade reaction. The safety factor for the additional modulus of subgrade reaction was set as 1.0. And the equivalent modulus of subgrade reaction was divided by a global safety factor. The slab deflection was calculated by using Beam on Elastic Foundation. Structural data of nailed-slab and the soil were based on the previous researcher for a single pile nailed-slab model. The calculated deflection was compared to the observed deflection. Results show that the calculated deflection of the slab was in good agreement with the observed deflection. In this case, the end bearing capacity of the pile is neglected according to the Modified Hardiyatmo Method. Increasing the global safety factor resulted in the over-estimated slab deflections. It means the design by using allowable equivalent modulus of subgrade reaction tends to result in a safety zone.

Abstract. Ground movement phenomena were detected at abutment A2 of Cigombong Bridge, causing the abutment to hit a girder. A thorough investigation has been performed by inspecting the condition of the structure and nearby landslide occurrences directly on site. Additional borings with Standard Penetration Test (SPT) were also conducted to evaluate the actual soil condition in the abutment area. Moreover, monitoring of subsurface movement was performed regularly with inclinometers. Such additional borings and inclinometers were located at the road elevation behind the wing wall and the existing ground surface near the abutment footing. The main reason behind this configuration was to examine whether the ground movement involves a deep failure mechanism. Initially, the assessment of ground movement was started by examining the structural condition of the abutment on site. The site investigation has shown that the bearing pad at the east side of the abutment has been deformed significantly and lifted, in contrast with the bearing pad at the west side. This phenomenon occurred was because the footing of the abutment on the east side is sitting in the fill area, while the west side in the cut area. It was later confirmed by the analysis of topographic map that the abutment is in the particular condition.

Thus, it can be concluded that the movement of the abutment was more significant on the east side than the west side (twisting). Further evaluation of the ground movement phenomena was then performed by installing inclinometers at the top area behind the abutment and the bottom of the abutment in the existing ground. During the installation of inclinometer pipes, soil identification and SPT were conducted. Consequently, the soil condition and SPT N-value profiles can be obtained. From these borings, it was established that the original soil condition is very soft clay with an SPT N-value of 1 to 2 blows/30 cm. Furthermore, the inclinometer monitoring results showed that lateral displacements were identified in both inclinometers. The depth of the slip surface in the inclinometer located behind the wing wall (top area) and existing ground (bottom area) are 17 m and 10 m, respectively. These phenomena confirm that the occurred ground movement was due to deep sliding failure. Based on the obtained data and understanding of the landslide mechanism, it was decided to use ground anchors that were installed at the abutment footing to stop further lateral movements. Additionally, a counterweight was also adopted to increase the global stability of the abutment. Finite element analysis was then performed to obtain the safest and most economical countermeasure design. The analysis results show that the global Safety Factor (SF) could be increased to a value of 1.46. This design was proven to be a successful method to resolve the specific problem in the field.

Abstract. Infrastructure development such as multi-storey buildings, toll roads, bridges, housing, and others continue to be carried out to improve the economic region. Those things require planning and a good foundation in order to have a durable and earthquake-resistant building. The important thing in development planning is to consider the hazard area has.

Earthquake is one of the most destructive geological hazards and can trigger other geological hazards, such as landslides, tsunamis, liquefaction, and land subsidence. Bengkulu Province, Indonesia, is one of the susceptible areas to this hazard. The earthquake hazard assessment is important to do to reduce the risk of material and immaterial loss. This study aims to determine the sensitivity of the maximum magnitude range parameter using the probabilistic seismic hazard analysis (PSHA) method. Data used are all earthquake sources within a 500 km radius from the boundary of Bengkulu Province. The earthquake source model and each program used include (1) fault earthquake source processed with USGS PSHA program through fltrate and hazFXnga7c modules, (2) background earthquake source processed with agridMLsm, and hazgridXnga2 modules, (3) megathrust earthquake source processed with hazSUBXnga module.

The result of all earthquake sources, it calculated with hazallXL program. Attenuation (GMPE) logic tree and maximum magnitude were also applied in this analysis. The expected result from this analysis is the value of bedrock acceleration with 2500 years of return period can be compared with the result in the book of Indonesia earthquake source in 2017, which is become the national reference. Besides that, sensitivity of the maximum magnitude parameter range can be observed well.

Abstract. Clay is a land which has the properties to expand and contract when exposed to water, so that it is very dangerous to the construction built on it. This research aims to: (1) knowing the type of clay soil in Dusun Kalangan, Bangunjiwo Village, Kasihan District, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region based on the soil classification system, (2) to determine the effect of strengthening bamboo groves, bamboo grids, sand columns and non-woven geotextiles on increasing the carrying capacity of clay soil, (3) comparing the carrying capacity of each variation with the value of the bearing capacity without reinforcement. This research is an experimental study with loading on the soil model gradually until it collapses. The research was conducted at the Soil Mechanics Laboratory of JPTSP FT UNY. This study uses a prism shaped iron plate measuring 20 cm x 20 cm x 10 cm to load distributed. While the test tub is made of iron plate measuring 100 cm x 100 cm x 40 cm, with a thickness of 4 mm iron plate. A hydraulic jack is used as a pressing device to apply a gradual load over the steel prism at a loading speed of 1 mm / min. To find out the amount of load is 3 tons in weight capacity proving ring is installed and to find out the amount of drop, a dial gauge is installed. Clay soil that will be used is not less than 30 cm. Reinforcement variations in the form of bamboo groves, bamboo grids, sand columns and non woven geotextiles are planted to a depth of 20 cm. The results showed that: (1) the type of soil according to the USCS classification in Dusun Kalangan, Bangunjiwo Village, Kasihan District, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region is inorganic clay with high plasticity, "fat clays" with the code CH (clay high plasticity). According to the AASHTO land is classified as group A-7-6 (40), (2) the addition of reinforcing bamboo groves, bamboo grids, and non-woven geotextiles can increase the bearing strength (ultimate limit), where the strengthening of the bamboo groves can provide an increase in the ultimate bearing strength (qult) which is dominant, which is 3.4 times that of the original soil without reinforcement with a bearing capacity ratio (BCR) of 3.44 or a percent increase of 234.43%. (3) this study shows that bamboo groves are more effective in transferring and spreading loads to the ground.

Abstract. Gejayan Street is one of the main roads in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, especially in Sleman Regency which represents the many activities carried out by migrants. This research is survey research. The method used in this research is to use a quantitative approach.

This research was conducted in three stages namely, the first stage is the initial, the second stage is collecting data and the third stage is the data analysis. The instrument used in the study was a questionnaire. The population in this study were all people of productive age who have activities around Gejayan Street. Respondents were selected by random sampling as many as 100 people around the sidewalk of Gejayan Street. The pedestrians are classified based on stationary pedestrians and mobile pedestrians. Stationary pedestrians are pedestrians who carry out their daily activities around the sidewalk. Meanwhile, mobiler pedestrians are pedestrians who use the sidewalk only as a route to move between places at certain times. The comfort level variable is seen based on accessibility, the physical condition of the sidewalks, cleanliness, beauty, and barriers to pedestrians. The results showed that the comfort level of stationary pedestrians on Gejayan Street was 55.74% and the comfort level for mobile pedestrians on Gejayan Street was 55.77%. So it is obtained if the comfort level of the two types of pedestrians is in a quiet comfortable category.

Abstract. Physical infrastructure of Ruminant-Slaughterhouse urban in Indonesia is typically old and in need of urgent rehabilitation. Infrastructure and equipment of Ruminant- Slaughterhouses, in particular, are very poor and in many cases, new facilities may be the only option for medium to long-term solutions. Ruminant-Slaughterhouse is a public service physical infrastructure that works to supply safe, healthy, whole and halal meat, also for monitoring and Zoonotic diseases surveillance. This study was carried out to evaluate the sustainability on physical conditions, and functional status of infrastructure of Ruminant-Slaughterhouses. The survey data was collected between the December 2017 until at April 2019 for this study. Ten Ruminant-Slaughterhouses located in Bogor, Depok, Jakarta, Bekasi, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Malang, Kudus and Denpasar were selected for the study. The data was collected through interviews as well as through observations. The data were coded, classified, tabulated and analyzed using Principal Component Analysis and Multidimensional Scaling. Furthermore, influential variables are processed through MDS analysis to find out the Ruminant- Slaughterhouse infrastructure sustainability. The research found that sustainability index on physical infrastructure Ruminant-Slaughterhouses is 53% (quite sustainable). In order for sustainability to be maintained found attribute leverage is physical facilities of water supply with Root Mean Square value of 4.31.

Abstract. Semarang City is growing rapidly which has an impact on the occurrence of urban agglomeration, where urban facilities are shifted from the city center to the suburban area. One of them is the development of the UNNES (Universitas Negeri Semarang) Campus in Sekaran, Gunungpati Sub-district. The area has a mountainous topography, according to regional regulations, including buffer zones for water conservation and areas prone to disasters. In general, the impact of the development of the UNNES Campus has become a trigger for the growth of new activities that require the provision of new spaces. Phenomenon in the field illustrates the existence of uncontrolled growth and neglect of the environment. The research question is what is the influence of the mass structure of residential buildings around the UNNES Campus on the supporting capacity of the existing environment. This study aims to examine the influence of the mass structure of residential buildings around the UNNES Campus on the supporting capacity of the environment in Sekaran as one of the buffer areas of Semarang City.

This research uses an exploratory method used in collecting and analyzing data. This study gives the result that there is an influence of the mass structure of residential buildings on the supporting capacity of the environment. Where the building layout does not pay attention to 2 things, namely rainwater infiltration and reduction of sun exposure, it will reduce the supporting capacity of the environment and reduce the comfort of the occupants. Rainwater infiltration is an important concern where settlement positions are in water conservation areas. Meanwhile, reduction of sun exposure is important to provide comfort for residents and area crossers. Efforts are made by:

(1) providing open space; (2) increasing water absorption; (3) Integration of roof design; (4) design of building openings; (5) the use of porous materials; (6) adding shade trees and gardens;

(7) procurement of tree / garden potted street furniture.

PEDESTRIAN PERCEPTION BASED ON SIDEWALK LEVEL OF CONVENIENCE AT PEMUDA STREET

Abstract. The city of Jakarta is one of the largest metropolitan cities in Indonesia. This is because Jakarta is the center of the economy and center of government. For this reason, infrastructure development in Jakarta needs to remember the large number of people living in Jakarta.

Development in a city that is oriented towards a transportation system with two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles. The space for pedestrians is reduced or even lost if there is one, it cannot provide benefits and advantages for pedestrians. Pedestrians are a very important means of transportation in urban areas, not only that pedestrians can be defined as people who are entitled to special road facilities for walking activities in the form of pedestrian paths, crossings, and other facilities. But in reality, the pedestrian path on Jalan Pemuda Rawamangun is not used only for pedestrians. This can be seen from the results of the preliminary survey conducted, that the conditions in the pedestrian pathway on the youth street changed function as a place to trade, an online motorcycle taxi base, as well as a parking area for visitors to shops / places to eat there along the youth's street which caused the main function of the pedestrian path for pedestrians is no longer a priority. This research uses descriptive quantitative approach, where data is carried out through surveys and questionnaires. Google form-based questionnaires will be given to respondents who are related to this research, namely, pedestrian users who have done activities on the pedestrian path of Jalan Pemuda Kota Jakarta, this is because conditions in the field do not support gathering or meeting many people during the pandemic covid-19. Meanwhile, the sampling technique used in this study was random sampling. After the questionnaire was distributed, there were 156 respondents. From the analysis of the results of the study, as many as 68.12% of respondents related to the Pemuda Rawamangun pedestrian path that was comfortable for pedestrian users to pass. This is supported by several indicator factors, from a number of these indicators show that the highest percentage is found in the surface condition indicator, both male gender at 78.93%, and female by 75.08% agree that the surface condition of the Pemuda pedestrian path is comfortable. However, the lowest percentage is found in the pedestrian pathway obstacle indicator, both men of 52.33% and women of 49.58% feeling uncomfortable.

Abstract. Greening is an effort to overcome urban environmental problems by increasing green open space. Green Open Space (RTH) is one of the conditions for the formation of a good and healthy city that is beneficial for humans and the environment around the city. The benefits of the existence of Green Open Space (RTH) are as the lungs of the city. The need for green open space in Jambi City is stipulated in the Jambi City Regional Regulation No. 09 of 2013 concerning the regional spatial plan (RTRW) of Jambi City 2013-2033, where the need for green open space is planned for an area of 5,381.79 hectares or 30%. City parks as one of the green open spaces (RTH) have an influence on the community in Jambi City, especially Arena Youth Park. Arena Youth Park is one of the city parks in the new city area which is the center of government of the Jambi City Government. Arena Youth Park is one of the places for people to do activities such as sports, picnics with family, playgrounds and other activities. This paper aims to determine the user's perception of Arena Youth Park as a green open space in Jambi City.

The method used in this research is quantitative qualitative with secondary and primary data (observation and questionnaires). Respondents in this study were 105 people. The research variables of the typology of RTH Arena Youth Park and User Perceptions of the existence of city parks as green open spaces (RTH) case study of Arena Youth Parkin Jambi City. The results showed that the typology of green open space in Arena Youth Park was optimal, most of them had met the standards in the Minister of Public Works Regulation No. 05 / PRT / M / 2008.

Users of Arena Youth Parktend to engage in recreational activities with a proportion of 49.1%.

The variable that has a significant effect on the existence of Arena Youth Park as RTH is Arena Youth Park which affects air quality in cities. As many as 73% of Arena Youth Parkusers agree that Arena Youth Park is a green open space in Jambi City. With three aspects, namely ecological (72%), socio-cultural (73%) & economic (75%).

Abstract. Increasing population is currently an important issue affecting the increasing need for urban settlements. One of the problems in urban settlements is the inaccurate allocation of land and space, resulting in inconsistencies between residential buildings and their ecological environment, as well as social aspects such as the exclusion of local communities due to development orientation. The government in Indonesia has also begun to promote the development of ecological residential landscapes in cities in Indonesia. A landscape design approach based on ecological principles will direct a residential area towards a landscape that is environmentally and culturally sustainable and aesthetically appropriate. The problem examined in the study was whether existing settlements in Kupang City meet the ecological design criteria.

Therefore, the study aimed to (1) assessed the ecological design component of the residential landscape in Kupang City, (2) found the ecological settlement landscape patterns in Kupang City.

The research used descriptive quantitative methods, namely scoring, quantification (weighting), and ranking on each criterion and category being assessed. The ecological design assessment of the landscape used several components of design variables, namely water, land use, physical settlement, user behavior, technology and institutions, which was carried out by survey methods and interviews with area managers and residents. The research was conducted in residential landscapes in Kota Raja and Kelapa Lima Districts, Kupang City to obtain settlement landscape patterns that have ecological achievements. Ecological settlement landscape in the location had such characteristics like, the fulfillment of the efficiency of the water component, no flood inundation, followed the need for clean water standards, the availability of parks and recreational area, green open space > 20%, physically suitable for residential areas, the community had a high level of participation, had a green basic coefficient > 50%, and low density settlement locations.

Abstract. The operation and maintenance phase is one of the most crucial phases in the green building life cycle. This phase is part of the post-construction phase and is one of the phases that plays an important role in determining the success of sustainable green management and supporting the improvement of the performance of existing buildings. In the operation and maintenance phase, the existence of internal support and facilitating oriented towards sustainable green management can have a huge impact on buildings. Its existence is a supporter of other processes that will be taken during the building's life cycle. This study is a preliminary study that aims to assess content validity on the development of a questionnaire instrument related to internal support and facilitating sustainable green management in the operation and maintenance phase of buildings, especially in Indonesia. Internal support and facilitating indicator items are grouped into 3 main aspects, namely the leadership aspect, the policy aspect, and the people aspect. Where the development of initial aspects and indicators is based on literature studies and expert input. This study consists of 3 stages starting from the instrument design stage, the expert panel determination stage, and the validity content quantification stage using the 2-round Delphi method. The validity analysis uses the Content Validity Index (CVI) which consists of I-CVI, S- CVI, CVR and Kappa statistic coefficient. The final results of the study show that overall the instruments built have I-CVI, S-CVI, CVR and Kappa statistic coefficient of 1.00 and are classified as meeting all requirements. The indicators that meet the requirements for each aspect are 4 indicators on the leadership aspect, consisting of 1). commitment and leadership patterns, 2). strategic direction of sustainable facility management, 3). environmental awareness is described in the company's vision or mission, and 4). involvement in designing and implementing effective performance measurement and management systems. 6 indicators on the policy aspect consist of 1). compliance with legal, environmental, and audit program requirements. 2). protocols for operation and maintenance of buildings, electrical and mechanical equipment, 3). organizational structure that supports sustainable environmental management, 4).

cross-functional integration between departments for sustainable greening, 5). adopting a green rating system, 6). environmental management system and ISO 14001 certification, and 5 indicators on the aspects of people which consist of 1). availability of maintenance resources, 2).

continuous staff training and competency development, 3). compensation, rewards, and recognition of work performance, 4). changes in occupant behavior, and 5). encourage the use of biodegradable materials.

The design of Parahyangan Office Rental Space and Apartment is intended to create offices and residential areas that accommodate business and residential functions with the concept of smart building applied to various aspects of architectural design. Parahyangan Office Rental Space and Apartment is the offices and residential areas that accommodate the needs of community in Kota Baru Parahyangan, not only in business activities but also in residence. In this area, the offices become a place for business and economic activities for the people of Kota Baru Parahyangan and its surroundings. Moreover, the offices also become the biggest business center and office center in Kota Baru Parahyangan and/or Bandung Regency and its surroundings. Meanwhile, the residential areas are the place for the emergence of vertical residential needs in Kota Baru Parahyangan. The Smart building concept is chosen because of the need for efficiency in activities. Living in urban areas requires a high level of mobility and movement, which can be supported using the smart building concept. The system of buildings, in which the occupants live and do their activities, can be set through the intelligent building, so that residents can allocate their time and energy to other things. FRAMEWORK FOR IMPLEMENTING THE GREEN BUILDING CONCEPT AT YOGYAKARTA CITY USING GREENSHIP RATING TOOLS

Abstract. Construction buildings and infrastructure must have an impact on the environment.

The global warming issue is a trending topic discussed at the end of this decade. The development of construction is increasingly massive ay Yogyakarta City. Yogyakarta City has an area of 32,5 km² or approximately 1,02% of the Special Region of Yogyakarta area. Trademark as tourism city that stick of Yogyakarta city make 24,96% economic activities are focused on trading, hotel and restaurant. In order to support environmental sustainability, it’s time for city government to implement policies related to building construction. Recently, building construction is only regulated by policy of property tax (PBB) and feasibility building certificate (SLF). Green building concept is designed with environmental aspects in mind so that the construction impact is minimal and in line with energy saving objectives. This research’s aim is making a framework green building application on the buildings at Yogyakarta City. The expected output from this research is a structured framework that can be used as a reference in the construction of new buildings or evaluation of existing buildings. This Framewok adopts the Greenship assessment criteria by adjusting the evaluation results of the application of Green Building in Yogyakarta City. Greenship Rating Tools is using to evaluate the existing building with green building standard. There are six aspect that used to evaluate such as, appropriate site development, energy efficiency and conservation, water conservation, material resource and cycle, indoor health and comfort, also building and environment management. Each of the aspect is used to evaluate 140 building at 14 districts at Yogyakarta City. There are about 1.091 buildings in the 14 districts, this research take 140 buildings as sample to design the framework. The evaluation of green building implementation is using Standard of Greenship Existing Building Version 1.0 created by Green Building Council Indonesia. There are 117 points as total of the evaluation but from the evaluation, Yogyakarta City reach 89 in evaluation. Several aspect that can’t be optimized such as Energy Efficiency and Conservation aspect and Building Environmental Management aspect. The evaluation result is used to create a framework of new standard that can be implemented as a policy to construct new building in Yogyakarta City. There are 12 sub-aspects are eliminated from Greenship Rating Tools that customized with the city characteristics.

Abstract. fire disaster is a disaster that often occurs in densely populated areas. The Balubur Tamansari area is one of the villages in the city of Bandung, which is an area that has high buildings, population, and activities so that if a fire occurs there will be casualties and material loss. In exploring this research issue, there are several literatures that are used such as (1) personal space & crowding; (2) environmental pressure, stress and coping strategy; (3) social exclusion; and (4) conflict causes theory. The purpose of this research is to identify fire vulnerability in the Balubur Tamansari area of Bandung City. The research method uses a spatial approach and disaster risk analysis. Meanwhile, to identify areas of fire susceptibility using descriptive analysis with primary and secondary data analysis methods. The spatial parameters consist of population density, building quality, building density, and road network density.

Disaster risk by considering parameters of hazard, vulnerability and capacity. The results showed that the area of Balubur Tamansari Kota is included in the high risk of disaster vulnerability to fire.
