Judul Skripsi: Increasing Students' Reading Ability Using Drilling Technique by Wondershare Quiz Creator in Grade 8 of SMPN 2 Mattirobulu (A Classroom Action Research). The reading material given to the students consisted of narrative text. The researcher took the class of VIII 3, which consists of 25 students, as the subject of the study. Finally, it can be concluded that Wondershare Quiz Creator's drill method has a good effect on the students.

The researcher was focused on increasing students' reading ability through the use of drilling method of Wondershare Quiz Creator (WQC) on eight class of SMPN 2 Mattirobulu (A Classroom Action Research). The Drill Method by WQC makes the students have their own way of reading some text, and it means that they quickly get information well, get the meaning/subject of the text and understand what the written means. Thus, the researcher tries to apply a new teaching reading through the Drill Method of WQC in the classroom.

Is the implementation of Drill Method by Wondershare Quiz Creator able to increase students' reading ability.

REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE

The Consept Kontruktivism Theory

Constructivism is an approach that shows that learning is more effective and meaningful when students are able to interact with problems or concepts. In other words, it holds that instead of passive recipients waiting for the teacher to provide a stimulus to elicit a response, the learner is actually in charge of the learning. Therefore, students are not "empty buckets to be filled with knowledge, but dynamic organisms that seek meaning".

So researchers can conclude that constructivism learning theory is an approach that shows that learning is more effective and meaningful when students are able to interact with problems or concepts.

Previous Research Findings

This is evident from the t-test which showed that there is a significant difference between the student's pre-test score after giving the numbered heads together.11. Based on the above research findings, the researcher concludes that to improve students' reading ability, the teacher must use some different methods, strategies, and media to make students more interested and more confident in teaching English reading ability. The result of this previous researcher led the researcher to conduct a research that focused on improving reading ability.

The researcher believed that the Coaching Method by WQC can improve the reading ability of the eighth grade SMPN 2 Mattirobulu.

Webster defined reading as the act, practice, or art of reading, in any sense of the work, a public recital, the act of formally reading to a legislative bobby a bill, etc., proposed for amendment. 13 Moreover, according to Richards, Platt & Weiber, reading perceives a written text to understand its context.14 It means that people receive the information through their eyes and then understand the meaning through their brain. The eyes receive messages and the brain then has to figure out the meaning of the messages. From the above definition, the researcher can conclude that reading is a process or the activity of extracting information and knowledge from the text or book that has never been heard before.

Reading is therefore one of the linguistic skills that people must have in order to communicate fluently in English and it is important to understand information from the text and interpret its meaning.

The researcher conducted a test in each cycle to find out the increase in students' reading ability. After students answered the question, the researcher re-explained the material using Wondershare Quiz Creator's drill method again. In fact, it is somewhat inaccurate if this observation is separate from the implementation of the action, since the observation should be done during the implementation of the action.

This reflection activity was very appropriate when the teacher practitioner completes the actions and then faces the researcher. It was conducted in two cycles to observe students' reading skills using the Drill method. At this stage, the researcher noticed an increase in the number of students. reading ability in understanding the content of the text and also their increase in determining the main idea of ​​the paragraph using the Drill method according to WQC.

The research evaluated the students' achievements in reading skills and measured the effect of the Drill method according to the WQC. The researcher gave some instructions to the students that they were confused or had difficulty in teaching the process. Through reflection, the researcher realized the weakness of the first cycle and it needs to be revised in the second cycle.

FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION

Discussion

So, in the second cycle the researcher would give the students more narrative texts and they should read them fluently. Based on the observation in cycle 1, most of the students did not care or were apathetic in the learning process. The percentage of students' reading frequency rate in cycle 1 shows that none of the students were excellent and very good.

There were 11 (44%) of the students who were given poor classification. Based on the data above, there has not been an increase in students'. The average percentage of the students' score on reading test was 60.2 categorized as poor based on curriculum 2013 learning achievement measurement. The frequency rate percentage of the students' reading ability in cycle 2 shows there were 4 (16%) out of 25 the students got excellent classification and very good classification there were 12 (48%) out of 25 the students got very good classification.

The average percentage of the students' score on reading test was 85.8 categorized as very good vibes on curriculum 2013 learning performance measurement. This data resulted in cycle 2, the researcher found that the students' reading ability after the application of Drill Method was effective in increasing the students' reading ability because the researcher was able to achieve the target score. The situational teaching and learning process was comfortable for all the students in the classroom.

The responses of the students in reading by applying Drill Method by Wondershare Quiz Creator were good because they always increase their participation in the learning process in the classroom.
