The central issue in this work is the preparation and characterization of zirconia nanomaterials, but the authors have not adequately clarified whether this is an original work or have been carried out by other researchers before. But judging from the references cited, this work is basically a replica of previous work done by other authors.

up with this result?

What are the functional differences of a monoclinic , tetragonal and an orthorhombic nano zirconia?regarding their application as an adsorbent for Molybdenum-99 (99Mo).?

Final comments and recommendations:

- Some of the English need to be brushed up and brought up to satisfy the standard scientific English requirements.

- Some of the analysis/calculation procedures need to be elaborated and backed up by explicit calculation or graphical method, such as the ‘’Scherer’’ method and the fractional phase determination.

- Finally the reviewer would like to see a few arguments from the authors that their work is not just a replica of the work referred to in ref. [2] (Chakravarty et al) and in other references, so please clearly state the original contribution of this work.
