Abstract
In the current development, we can find lots of new businesses, namely micro, small and medium enterprises, which are facilitated by the Office of Cooperatives and SMEs in each region. The Cooperatives and UMKM Office plays a very important role in increasing the regular income of the people in Salatiga City as well as the cohesiveness and performance of the Cooperative and UMKM Office employees. This certainly has a big effect in advancing the Office of Cooperatives and SMEs in providing services. Therefore the importance of strategic planning Information Systems can facilitate the organization in achieving its vision and mission.
This study uses the Ward and Peppard method with SWOT analysis (Strengh, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat), Value Chain Analysis and McFarlan Strategic Grid. The application of IS/IT in the Office of Cooperatives and UMKM is still not optimal, because employees are still inputting data manually. So it is necessary to have a strategic plan to provide IS/IT solutions in the Office of Cooperatives and UMKM in the City of Salatiga, in order to produce output on the application of SI/IT in the Office of Cooperatives and UMKM. In this research, strategic planning was carried out according to the vision and mission. The method used in this study uses the Ward and Peppard method with various analyzes such as; SWOT Analysis, Value Chain, and McFarlan Strategic Grid.
