Do you like to work in the garden? The Staff Council needs you!
The IUPUI Staff Council Legacy Project continues throughout the spring and summer with weeding the green space located at West and Michigan Streets at the IUPUI Campus sign. If you would like to help us maintain the space by weeding and generally sprucing it up by removing trash, please see the website below, and click on Calendar.
The link with take you to a Doodle.com calendar where you can sign up for a day and time that works for you.
Here is the site:
http://mypage.iu.edu/~keeckert/LegacyProject/index.html
You can also reach the Legacy Project website through the Staff Council website. Just look under
“About the SC.”
The website contains pictures from the initial planting for the Legacy Project. This project is designed to keep a Staff Council presence on the campus for years to come. The Council will maintain the space with the assistance of Campus Facility Services and Crossroads Greenhouse. In the fall, we will plant mums and decorative
cabbage plants.
If you would like to be a part of the project, please sign up under “Calendar.” We’ll add your name to the participants list! Thank you for your
assistance in making the campus beautiful!

Race for the Cure!
The IUPUI Staff Council team did very well this year in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
The team raised $1,346 in donations with Ali Godby-Schwab and Lodema Lines raising the most!
Rachel Sipes served as team captain this year and did a wonderful job organizing the team.
