If this paper is to fulfill its purpose, it must cite examples or point to guidelines for graduate student opportunities in the future of dentistry. The majority of students entering the dental field today received their stimulus from their own dentist. That's fine, and that's the true hope for the future of our profession.

Depending on your education, you should be able to recognize some of the needs of dentistry. Rollie Bennett with a new gavel as he takes over as president of the Indiana State Dental Association. Rollie Bennett receives a new gavel from Dr.

Forty-four percent of the cerebral palsy children showed bruxism, more than twice the percentage of cases recorded in the control group. The cerebral palsy children showed bruxism the most during the day, and was most common in the athetoid group. Two days after surgery, epithelial proliferation was seen at the incised borders of the implant.

This proliferation folded back onto the keratinized surface of the implant, in some cases coalescing within days. Some were seen together to form microcysts, which then joined the lumina of the larger cysts to increase the size of the latter. With the exception of two skin implants that effaced, random and serial sections of the 5–15 day specimens showed some complete and some incomplete elongated cystic tubes filled with keratin, hair, and other debris.

These experiments did not show that one material was superior to the other in all physical properties tested. Master models of the denture bearing area were protected from the impressions taken before extraction, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks, 9 weeks, 15 weeks, and 26 weeks after extraction. Sections of the same plane from these models, acquired at different time intervals, were projected onto the same paper screen by superimposing their basic reference lines under the same magnification and the contours of the ridges were traced.

The three patients with the extended latent periods happened to be the three oldest patients in the sample. These observations revealed that for maxillary central tilting, the optimal force range would be 50 to 100 grams. Ionization chamber dosimeters were implanted in the areas of seven vital organs of a fully embalmed cadaver.

The aim of this study was to determine the growth characteristics of the transplantable murine salivary gland tumor BW1081 that arose spontaneously in a BALB/c strain mouse. A series of tumor transplantations, tumor size determinations, observations of host response, histological examination of tumors and organs from tumor-bearing mice, hematological studies, and recovery of in vivo tumor growth from tissue culture preparations of the BW1081 neoplasm residue. - revealed that this neoplasm is similar to the myoepitheliomas reported in the literature. A previously unreported host response to the transplanted tumor was the atrophy of the granular tubules of the submaxillary salivary glands in certain adult male tumor-bearing mice.
