The aim of the research was to identify plants used as natural dyes in Batik processing. Natural dye plant conservation efforts not only the public duty, but also the government. Natural dye plant species need to be introduced to the public so that they know the added benefits of the plants.

Each potential of tourism has different characteristics that can be used as a support for ecotourism, thus creating a well-preserved component in the district of Trenggalek.

In order to establish the proper management plant of natural resources, it is important to identify the basic characters of geophysical character of land in Rote Ndao Regency. Fieldwork and secondary data collection was done in Rote Ndao Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. Basically, the climates of Rote Ndao regency are similar to other islands and area in the east of Nusa Tenggara.
Local population and tourism in Rote Ndao Based on the demographic data, an annual population growth of 1.6% was recorded. It is especially important when tourism was considered as a new economic activity in Rote Ndao. Based on the topographic data, the landscapes of Rote Ndao Regency can be classified as the steepest areas.
Geophysical characteristics and availability of water resources in Rote Ndao (Tamelan). to transfer water to the soil. The hydrogeological profiles of the soil in Rote Ndao provide opportunities for water infiltration into the soil.
