The Challenge of Writing Qualitatively
Discussion
The modest formulation of writing qualitative research gave him the impression that qualitative writing was writing abstract concepts. Treating Lin's qualitative research writing as a genre practice can support his interpretive writing of the epistemological elements.

THE BARBARIANS AND FOE
Result and Discussion
- Narration and Its Significance in Literary Works
- Drawing Inference from Narrative Character
This helps in the narrative process to achieve the meaning and central idea on the part of readers and even writers (Sandelowski, 1991). Likewise, the difficulties surrounding the representation of history in general and the representation of Susan's history in particular are very crucial in the novel. Waiting for the Barbarian sees the magistrate's identity as a worker for the Empire's government and as an active participant in the Empire's administrative function.
Any reluctance or reluctance in the machinery of imperial authority thus belongs to the ruling colonial discourse. Therefore, there is a connection between the narrative product and the principled consciousness on the part of the author, which sets a requirement through which the work and the author are closely connected in the act of creativity.
PSYCHOSOCIAL DEVELOPMENT PORTRAYED IN JANE AUSTEN’S EMMA
Literature review
- Erik Erikson’s Theory of Psychosocial Development
Although it is a last-minute change, the hints are marked early in the novel. Lascelles perceived the moral climate of the entire village, which was to be depicted in the novel. For Kettle, the morality depicted in the novel is applied to the modern world of critics, while the events in the book are depicted realistically.
As a proponent of Emma's psychological maturation, Li-Jun (2017) conducted a study to prove that Emma is a Bildungsroman by examining her moral and psychological growth. Similarly, Adam Roberts affirmed that the impact of the psychological force simply made Emma “less superficial” (183).
Analysis
- Industry versus Inferiority
- Identity versus Role Confusion
- Emma and Her Father
- Emma and Harriet Smith
- Emma and Jane Fairfax
- Emma and Mr. Knightley
- Intimacy versus Isolation
Emma's role at this time of her life is really confused and her identity is not formed as a healthy formation. The meaning of the first pages is to reveal Emma's feelings towards Miss Taylor's marriage and her relationship with her father. Jane's experience in real life and her actions transcend Emma's limited world in Highbury.
A close interpretation of Emma's psychosocial development in the light of Erikson's theory reveals that Emma's change is not realized and her marriage to Mr. If Emma's marriage is to be seen as an element that marks her formation, then her formation is not a real one. .
BRIDE VALUE: A FEMINIST READING OF BUCHI EMECHETA’S THE BRIDE PRICE
Zanyar Kareem Abdul
In addition, the novel is divided into ten sections; each under a different heading starting from "Bride Price" to the last "Tempting Providence". Collins (1996) tells readers from the beginning of the novels that she describes her mother as having "a few enemies" who call her mother "the palm tree woman". Regarding the use of color, and she shares the same view of the American black female novelist Toni Morrison, especially in her "Sula" (1972) and "The Bluest Eyes" (1970).
In another story, Emecheta's The Joys of Motherhood (1979) is another example of women being exploited. Chukwuma (1989) in her article, Positivism and The Female Crisis: Novels of Buchi Emecheta, uses two key concepts that in Emecheta's novels read as follows: 'The real test for woman remains the institution of marriage (...) therefore; a woman attains a status praised by society and fulfills the biological need for reproduction and companionship.” (Ibid, 1989: 5) and Emecheta's insistence in The Slave Girl (1977) that every woman must marry, whether free or slave.

- Delivering Agreement
- Conveying an Apology
- Asking Questions
- Giving Praise
- Delivering Thank You
- Praying for others
Glorifying God with greetings is found in the opening speech of the lecturer Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh when starting the lecture. The culture of politeness to ask can be found in the speech above from Student1 who says So, do you know centipede. Of the four speech shifts, one is as shown in the following conversation transcripts.
It can be concluded that the type of teacher-student interaction in the speaking class is reflected in the. The lecturer should actively use several politeness strategies, and the students should then be actively involved in the class in the same way.
Acknowledgements
Understanding the culture of politeness is important to achieve better results in implementing classroom interaction in EFL lessons. Students should create their own language expression and find politeness strategies to practice using polite language. Students should increase their knowledge of politeness in English culture by learning and practicing the language.
Therefore, it would be better for the other researchers to conduct the study not only on politeness strategies in the EFL classroom, but also on other viewpoints regarding politeness. Then, researchers are also expected to observe not only the interaction pattern among teacher students, but also the interaction among students.
