INTRODUCTION
EXAMINING THE PATTANI CENTRAL MOSQUE AMID THE SOUTHERN THAILAND CONFLICT 1
Ridwan
A BRIEF PROFILE OF MASJID JAMI’
PATTANI (PATTANI CENTRAL MOSQUE)
ISLAMIC TEACHING PRACTICES Generally speaking, Islamic teaching
THE RELUCTANCE OF OTHER ISLAMIC GROUP TOWARD THE
PREACHERS AS AFFIRMATION OF TRADITIONAL AUTHORITY
The reason lies in the content of their sermons, many of which discuss religious matters. In conclusion, most preachers in the mosque could be categorized as the second type of Gaffney's category.
THE ABSENCE OF LITERATURE THAT SUPPORT VIOLENT JIHAD
For example, on the mailing list of the Indonesian students at the University of Sydney, I often received various propaganda about HTI's ideology, including its electronic bulletin, Al-Islam. In addition, I also met some HTI sympathizers during an Indonesian student conference at the Indonesian Consulate in Sydney.
Questioning Mosque Management: Some Observations
To date, the Al-Islam or HTI bulletin is seen as an alternative critique of the injustices of the Indonesian government system. Moreover, it seems that more and more students in Indonesia and abroad, including some in Australia, are becoming HTI sympathizers.
The Involvement in Civic Engagements It seems that civic engagements, such
At this point, I believe that mosques could play a vital role in civic engagement within their congregations. It is not surprising that Saudi Arabia is working to spread Wahhabism in the Muslim world.
The Weak Control toward Religious Study Groups
It has institutions such as the Yala Islamic College and the College of Islamic Studies at the Prince of Songkla University. Lutfi and his followers as moderate Wahhabis, and have no relationship with other militant groups, I think that other radical Salafi-Wahhabi movements try to nurture influence and spread ideas covertly through their financial support for mosques and pondoks (schools) dormitories).
In this sense, the head of the foundation told me that the main idea of publishing books in the Yawi language is to preserve the language amidst the supremacy of the Thai language. Furthermore, I argue that the increase in the Thai language is caused by the job and career demands either in the Pattani region or in Thailand.
THE CONTESTING VIEWS TOWARD MASJID JAMI’ PATTANI
Second, the Yawi language is more than a means of communication between the freedom fighters I met in a prison in southern Thailand. Therefore, the decline of the Malay language is inevitably caused by the loss of economic interest in it.
CONCLUSION
Similarly, Nilsen claims that "in the Patan region, the local Malay dialect indicates Muslim identity". Based on my observation and interview, I think the younger generation and Pattani children are taught to speak Thai rather than Malay.
In addition, a different image and quality of a mosque could likely be found in the suburban areas and villages of Pattani, especially in mosques that enjoy financial support from certain donors such as the Salafy-Wahaby. All in all, the Pattani Central Mosque appears to be made up of a fair, equal mix of moderate and conservative Islamic views rather than radical and extreme ones.
HARVESTING PEACE
CHRISTIAN-MUSLIM RELATIONSHIP IN BARANGAY KAKAI RENABOR, THE PHILIPPINES
Akhmad Siddiq
Earlier, Swidler (1983) devised the Decalogue dialogue to create an ideal approach to interfaith dialogue. i) the primary purpose of the dialogue is to learn, that is, to change and develop some understanding of reality, and then act consistently on that reality; (ii) interreligious or interideological dialogues should be a two-way project – within any religious or ideological community and between religious or ideological communities; iii) each participant must participate in the dialogue in full honesty and sincerity; (iv) in interfaith dialogue we should not compare our ideals with our partner's practices, but rather our ideals with our partner's ideals, our practices with our partner's practices; (v) each participant must define themselves; (vi) each participant must enter the dialogue without hard and fast assumptions against the direction of the points of disagreement; (vii) the dialogue could only take place between equal participants; (viii) dialogue can only take place on the basis of mutual trust; (ix) Persons participating in interfaith dialogue should at least be self-critical of themselves and their own religious or ideological traditions; (x) each participant should ultimately try to experience their partner's religions or ideologies from the inside (Swidler, 1984). Here, people believe that religious teachings are deliberately constructed and fancifully created, without any relevance to reality (Appleby Referring to Mircea Eliade, people assume that religions are "the sacred," which orders and regulates certain conditions, including violence.
KAKAI RENABOR AND THE CONFLICT OF MINDANAO
The municipality of Tubod, inhabited by approximately 44,095 people, belongs to the province of Lanao Del Norte, Philippines. The provincial capital is then moved to the municipality of Tubod near Batas Pambansa 181.2.
THE ROOT OF CONFLICT AND ITS SOLUTION
As part of the conflict resolution process, Pakigdait Inc. always financial, conceptual, psychological support to the people. The Process of Conflict Reconciliation The Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) was a formal institution which officially oversaw the process of conflict reconciliation in the Barangay.
THE ROLE OF PAKIGDAIT, INC
This relational dimension involves the emotional and psychological aspects of conflict and the need to recognize past grievances and explore future independence. To open means that the mediator's roles and the way the mediator would like to move forward in the resolution process determine the entire process.
In their book, Conflict Resolution, Max A Eggert and Wendy Falzon explain four basic steps in the mediation process: (i) opening, (ii) discovery, (iii) joining, and (iv) closing. More than half of the world's total population lives in Asia, and this region plays several very important roles in the global economy, security and human development.
ASEAN COMMUNITY: MANAGING NATURAL RESOURCES FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Lengga Pradipta
Firstly, the main actor of economic growth in the region and secondly, the manager of natural resources in Southeast Asia. With these roles, they must gain a deep understanding of the nuances of natural resource management for the sake of sustainable development.
ASEAN COMMUNITY AND NATURAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
In order to protect the environment and natural resources, we must adapt the level of human growth to environmental standards in the management of natural resources (Natural Resources Commission, 2015). Such a statement is a major concern of the ASEAN community, as the environment and natural resources are key to economic and social development.
STANDARDS FOR MANAGING NATURAL RESOURCES TO
Therefore, the literature and document reviews carried out in this research are also secondary data. Unfortunately, there are few documents dealing with natural resource management standards and sustainable development issues.
FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION
The Benefits of Natural Resources Management for ASEAN Community
In fact, there are some abundant benefits to the extent that we could manage and maintain his stock significantly. Furthermore, natural resource management is not only a matter of reaping its benefits, but also of conserving and protecting the resources themselves so that our future generations have the chance to access and enjoy them.
The Standard for Managing Natural Resources and Sustainable Development
In Asia, especially in Southeast Asia, the standard of natural resource management has not been established until today. Naturally, the Standard Framework for Natural Resource Management (SNRM) supports the ASEAN community in managing their resources.
PENDAHULUAN
KEBIJAKAN JALUR SUTRA BARU CINA DAN IMPLIKASINYA BAGI AMERIKA SERIKAT
Indriana Kartini
KEBIJAKAN JALUR SUTRA BARU CINA
Dari Kuala Lumpur, Jalur Sutra Maritim membentang hingga Calcutta, India dan melintasi Samudera Hindia hingga Nairobi, Kenya. Proposal “Sabuk Ekonomi Jalur Sutra” dan “Jalur Sutra Maritim Abad 21” kemudian menjadi bagian penting dari diplomasi infrastruktur baru Tiongkok di bawah kepemimpinan Xi Jinping.
DASAR PEMIKIRAN KEBIJAKAN JALUR SUTRA BARU CINA
Faktor Domestik

THE HISTORICAL OVERVIEW OF QUAKE MANAGEMENT POLICY IN CHINA: FROM TANGSHAN, SICHUAN, TO YUNNAN
Sejarah Kebijakan Penanganan Gempa di Cina: Studi Tangshan Sichuan dan Yunnan
The magnitude of the Tangshan earthquake was 7.8 on the Richter scale, killing 242,000 and injuring 164,000. Although the number of victims is not as large as in 2010, with about 43 people dying, more than 100,000 people are homeless and the economic losses are quite severe.
THE FORMATION OF
In 2010, the earthquake shook the area of Yushu, Qinghai with the magnitude of 7.1 on the Richter scale. In 2013, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake shook Sichuan, mainly in the city of Ya'an, southwest of Beijing.
MANAGEMENT AND MONITORING EARTHQUAKE POLICIES IN CHINA
The two deadliest China's catastrophic earthquakes in the 20th century are Tangshan in 1976 and Sichuan in 2008. On September 7, 2012, an earthquake struck the region of southwest China, mainly in the border between Yunnan and Guizho provinces.
A HISTORICAL OVERVIEW
In the first decades of the Chinese establishment, the Chinese government paid attention to the disastrous policies that focused mainly on prevention and protection. This causes the earthquake's shock scale to vary from region to region, depending on distance and other factors.
SEVERAL CASES ON EARTHQUAKE MANAGEMENT RESCUE: FROM
This is followed by another rule called Regulations on Dealing with Destructive Earthquake Emergencies in 2005. However, during the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008, the government reissued a new regulation for dealing with the impact of such a specific earthquake, namely the Regulations on Post -Wenchuan earthquake repair and reconstruction.
Tangshan 1976
Within the new millennium, China once again reformed the regulations related to dealing with the earthquake, whereby the government issued the Geological Disaster Prevention and Control Regulations in 2003. In fact, the government clearly issued regulations and policies regarding building safety standards related to the earthquake disaster warnings.
Wenchuan 2008
At the time, the government was hesitant to issue a warning because Tangshan was the center of industry and economy at that time, and if there were a false alarm, it could affect their economy. In addition to managing Tangshan, the government banned both local and foreign non-governmental organizations from approaching the area, even though they already have many resources, both volunteers and logistics.
Yushu, Qinghai 2010
In contrast to Tangshan, both local and international NGOs could enter the worst-hit areas in Wenchuan only after a research group called the Chengdu Urban Rivers conducted some lobbying and intensive discussions with the central government, and ensured that foreign donors would not interfere with political stability. in China. As a result of this incident, the Chinese government has increasingly opened its door to foreigners and foreign donors since Deng Xiaoping administration (Amri, 2010).
Ludian, Yunnan 2014
Therefore, a commitment between each institution to share information and to work together in order to carry out the disaster management policies set by the government is inevitably necessary. In addition, the government has also put in sufficient investment for the development of the disaster management as shown by the latest high-tech rescue equipment.
THE JAVANESE IN LAMPUNG, STRANGER OR LOCALS?
WITH THE REFERENCE OF CHINESE EXPERIENCE 1
The Javanese are the largest ethnic group making up approximately 40% of the Indonesian population, many of whom live on the island of Java. The Javanese who have become the dominant ethnic group in Lampung have adapted to the new social and political environments.
DISTINGUISHING JAVANESE FROM CHINESE INDONESIANS
Still, it is interesting to note that the Javanese individuals seem unfazed by such political practices and seem uninterested in identity politics. The Javanese are definitely not as overwhelming as the Chinese, but still we could find some similarities between them.
THE UNMAKING OF JAVANESE NATION
The national government established several enclaves of Javanese resettlement among the Lampung communities. In the end, after a long process of negotiation and conflict, Indian nationalism more or less prevailed as the new form.
JAVANESE MIGRATION AND THE LAMPUNGERS’ RESISTANCE
Widjojo Nitisastro believes that the Javanese should assimilate with the local population as both communities are Indonesian citizens. In relation to Javanese settlers, these people could be categorized as local population or simply called Orang Lampung or Lampungers.
THE JAVANESE IN LAMPUNG AFTER THE NEW ORDER
To be consistent with Wertheim's study, the Javanese in Lampung turn out to be "Jawa-Lampung" or "Japung". Fifth, the Javanese in Lampung have created a new identity, namely "Javanese-Lampung" or "Japung;" that could be considered the local identity.

CAUSALITY RELATION BETWEEN ENVIRONMENTAL TAX REFORM AND DOUBLE DIVIDEND IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC
However, the difference with the previous study is that this study focuses more on the causal relationship between environmental taxes and indicators of sustainable development in the Czech Republic. The dataset for environmental tax revenue as a share of the Czech Republic's total taxes was obtained from the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat).
FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION Granger Causality Test
Meanwhile, the Adjusted Net Savings (ANS) dataset from the World Bank is available in the World Development Indicators (WDI). Since the ANS data set is current in US Dollars, we deflate the data with the Czech Republic's annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) with 2005 as the base year.
Double Dividend Hyphotesis in The Czech Republic
Furthermore, if the tax base of the environmental tax is going to erode, the implementation of environmental tax reform may cause problems of. Meanwhile, the implementation of environmental taxes can reduce inefficiencies in the labor market by effectively increasing the tax on informal labor and thereby reducing the inequality in taxation between formal and informal labor.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
This result shows that the implementation of the green economy in the Czech Republic affects the percentage of environmental tax revenue that can be earned by the government. In addition, future research will need to focus on measuring the impact of environmental taxes on economic and social society.
