The International Board of Trustees consists of the President, the Immediate Past President, two Vice Presidents, the Treasurer and twelve Trustees. The Secretary is appointed by the Board of Administrators, participates in the meetings of the Board and acts as secretary of the Board. A Finance Committee, consisting of three members of the Executive Committee, is appointed by the President, with the approval of the Board.

The work of the general office is carried out under the direction of the international board. This department has direct supervision of all work done by the general office, including arrangements for official meetings of the board. The Club Officers Handbook is an authoritative and comprehensive compendium of information and instructions on the work of local club officers.
It describes the functions of the various committees and offers practical suggestions regarding committee work. Even if every service activity were reported and the number of projects multiplied several times over, the record would still be far too short to be an accurate measure of the achievements of Kiwanis since its inception in 1915 or an adequate measure of its provide value.
