Dear authors
This is a very simple paper attempting to describe changes in the swamp buffalo population in a specific part of Indonesia.
We accept the paper for publication in LRRD because of the importance of documenting traditional farming systems.
Please send us photos showing the animals in their swamp environment, indicating the nature of the ecosystem where the animals are raised.
Sincerely TRP

Dear Prof. Preston,
Thank you for your fast response. I sent you 3 pictures that could describe the traditional production system of swamp buffalo in Kalimantan.
Pict 1. Buffaloes climb to the shed in the afternoon after grazing in swamp area Pict 2. The buffalo calves are left in the shed when the adult reared in swamp Pict 3. A farmer open the gate to release the buffalo in the morning
Kind regards
