KATA PENGANTAR
Kota Tasikmalaya Dalam Angka 2023 merupakan publikasi tahunan yang diterbitkan oleh BPS Kota Tasikmalaya. Publikasi ini disadari belum sepenuhnya memenuhi harapan berbagai pihak pemakai data khususnya para perencana, namun diharapkan dapat membantu melengkapi penyusunan rencana pembangunan di Kota Tasikmalaya.
Publikasi ini dapat terwujud berkat kerja sama dan bantuan dari berbagai pihak baik instansi pemerintah maupun swasta. Kepada semua pihak yang telah memberikan bantuan disampaikan penghargaan dan terima kasih yang sebesar- besarnya.

Tasikmalaya Municipality in Figures 2023 is an annual publication published by BPS-Statistics Tasikmalaya Municipality. Honestly, this publication has not perfect yet and has not fulfilled the user’s hope, especially for the planners yet, but hopely it can help to equip compilation of development planning in Tasikmalaya Municipality.

PENJELASAN TEKNIS TECHNICAL NOTES 1. Topografi adalah keadaan muka
bumi pada suatu kawasan atau daerah.
2. Dataran adalah bagian atau sisi bidang tanah yang tampak datar, rata dan membentang.
3. Iklim adalah kondisi cuaca rata- rata berdasarkan lamanya waktu untuk lokasi tertentu di Bumi atau planet lain, Iklim bumi dipengaruhi oleh geografi dan topografi.
4. Unsur Iklim terdiri dari penyinaran matahari, suhu udara atau temperatur, kelembaban udara, awan, curah hujan dan tekanan udara.

Tasikmalaya terletak antara 70 10’ – 70 26 ‘ 32” Lintang Selatan dan 1080 08’ 38”
– 1080 24’ 02 “ Bujur Timur.
Luas Wilayah Kota Tasikmalaya berdasarkan Peraturan Wali Kota Tasikmalaya Nomor 29 Tahun 2021 adalah 183,14 km2 yang terbagi menjadi 10 (sepuluh) kecamatan yaitu Kecamatan Kawalu, Kecamatan Tamansari, Kecamatan Cibeureum, Kecamatan Purbaratu, Kecamatan Tawang, Kecamatan Cihideung, Kecamatan Mangkubumi, Kecamatan Indihiang, Kecamatan Bungursari, dan Kecamatan Cipedes.
Wilayah Kota Tasikmalaya bagian utara dan timur berbatasan dengan Kabupaten Tasikmalaya dan Kabupaten Ciamis, sedangkan bagian selatan dan barat berbatasan dengan Kabupaten Tasikmalaya.
Astronomically, Tasikmalaya Minicipality lies between 7⁰10’ – 7⁰26‘32”
South Latitude and 108⁰08’38”–
108⁰24’02“ East Longitude.
The area of Tasikmalaya Municipality based on Mayor Tasikmalaya Municipality Regulation Number 29 2021 is 183.14 km2 which is divided into 10 (ten) subdistricts, namely Kawalu Subdistricts, Tamansari Subdistricts, Cibeureum Subdistricts, Purbaratu Subdistricts, Tawang Subdistricts, Cihideung Subdistricts, Mangkubumi Subdistricts, Indihiang Subdistricts, Bungursari Subdistricts, and Cipedes Subdistricts.
Territorial Boundaries of Tasikmalaya Municipality in northern and eastern area bordered by Tasikmalaya Regency and Ciamis Regency, while in southern and western area bordered by Tasikmalaya Regency.
