The, Parties are desirous

of pursuing _an

academic cooperation

in relation to the

Faculty Exchange and Student Exchange programme _(as hereinafter defined) subject upon _{the terms} and conditions as hereinajter _appearing.

the exchange

Faculty member to develop, where appropriate, relationships _between

(i)

Based

on the requiremmts

and needs

of both

parties,

ySU

IUKL

agree to exchange

their

staff

in

specific areas of

study.

The

duration

of the teaching

stint

can be discussed

further.

MEMORANDUM

OF AGREEMENT

Both

paties

are responsible to take care of the lecturers, benefits and welJare on a reciprocal basis.

Student Exchange Ptogramme

Subject to meeting relevant admissions

IIIKL

for a

semester

IIIKL will exempt the

students assigned

by ySU to study at ILIKL from

the Academic Fees such as such as

Tuition

Fee, processing _Fee, International Student

Adminishative

Fee,

Library

and Student

Club.

Visa are to be bome

the students.

On a reciprocal basis,

IUKI,

at its own

shall assign 2 students to 6tudy at

YgU annually for

a

period of

ONE semester

for credit hansfered

and ONE- TWO year

for

dual Degree.

(v)

YSU can annually assign self-sponsored students to study at

IUKL

for a period

of

one semester.

All

ihe self-sponsored students are requtued to pay ILJKL the

Tuition

Iee, Registration Fee, Visa

Proeessing

Fqe, Medical ExaminatioD

Medical Insurance, Othet Fees

which

include

Library

and Student C.lub. However,

if

these students decide to continue and complete their study at

IIIKL,

these students are

rcquired to pay full

fees according

to

the fee

sbucture

charged to

Intemational

Sfudents. The sfudents are also responsible

for all

other costs

inculled,

such as

travelling

cost, food and accommodation and miscellaneous costs.

(vi)

On English Language assessment, students are

requted

to have a

minimum

IELTS score of 5.0 or TOEFL scorc of 453. However,

IUKL

reserves the

tight

to require an assessment of a studenfs English Language

proficienry

where

it

is felt to be in _the interest

of the

said

studen(s ability to fully benefit from

a

particulat

course

of study at IIIKL.

Students

who fail to meet the English

Language proficiency requirements _are rcquired to enroll

for

the Intensive _English programme _at

IUKL.

Coordination

Each

institution

6hall appoint a coordinator

for

this Agreement and keep the other

univelsity infomed

of the name and address oI that person.

Duration of

Agr€ement

This Agreement shall be effective

for five

⁽⁵⁾ yeare

from

the date signed and is to be renewed for a

further

five year period automatically unless one of the partneB gives notice of termination

not

later than six months

to the

expiry

of the agreement.

The terms of this Agreement may be amended at any time subject to

mutual w

tten agreement by both parties.
