The land promise has been fulfilled: the Israelites occupy the land of Canaan under the leadership of Joshua. To your seed will I give this land (Gen. 12:7) – the land promise was fulfilled in the book of Joshua.
JOSEPH'S FAITH

When God sent a plague on the Philistines, they returned the ark of the covenant to Israel. God then instructed Samuel to anoint Saul king from the tribe of Benjamin. Instead, Saul spared the king and the animals, telling Samuel that the people took the animals to sacrifice to God.
When Samuel anointed Saul, he said that the Lord had anointed him (Saul) to be what. When Saul offered a sacrifice, Samuel told him that he had acted foolishly and had not kept the Lord's command. The Lord sent Samuel to Bethlehem to Jesse to anoint a king from among his sons.
After seven years, when the elders of all the tribes came to Hebron to anoint David their king, what did they say that God had said to David. However, God did not allow David to build a house of worship, but instead He promised to make David a house. Through the prophet Na-Tan, God said that he would raise up descendants of David who would build a house in it.
Before David died, he gave Solomon the plans for the temple that he had received from the Lord and commanded him to build the house for the Lord, the God of Israel (1 Chron. But with regard to King Josiah, because his heart was tender and he humbled himself before God, evil would not happen until after his death (II Kings 22:3-20; II Chron. 34:8-28). Although Jeremiah's prophecy regarding Jehoiachin states that none of his descendants will sit on David's (earthly) throne, God will raise up another to sit on David's throne. One of the many persecutions against Jeremiah took place during the third and final siege of Jerusalem. What was the condition of Zedekiah and the people of Judah when he began to reign.
The king told him to take thirty men with him and take Jeremiah out of the dungeon. Despite the dark days and disastrous times of Jeremiah's life, he prophesied of a new covenant and hope for the future. The Lord promised that he would make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah (Jer. 31:31).
When the wise men of Babylon could not reveal or interpret the dream, the king became enraged and ordered the wise men to be killed—a decree that included Daniel and his friends. Daniel begged the king for some time, and then he and his friends prayed to God for mercy. Daniel asked the wise men to save their lives, and then he went to the king and told him the dream and its interpretation.
Nebuchadnezzar's dream was a vision of four empires that would arise one after the other. The stone that was cut without hands was prepared by God and broke the four empires into pieces. The king and his guests drank from the gold and silver vessels that Nebuchadnezzar brought to Babylon from the temple in Jerusalem.

Darius the Mede was appointed governor of Babylon by Cyrus, king of the Medes and Persians, who was the conqueror of Babylon by Cyrus, king of the Medes and Persians, who was the conqueror of Babylon in 539 B.C. The king rose from the feast in his anger and went into the palace garden. The king ordered it to be done, and the following day the Jews killed another 300 in Shushan. Haman is called an Agagite (Esth. 3:1), and was thus possibly a descendant of Agag, king of the Amalekites (1 Sam. 15:8).

NEHEMIAH'S SORROW
What would happen if the people sinned, according to the word of God spoken to Moses? Tasting the king's wine to ensure it was not poisoned was one of the cupbearer's most important duties. When Nehemiah brought wine to the king after hearing about conditions in Jerusalem, the king asked questions.

With the cooperation of the Jewish leaders, Nehemiah then organized the work for the construction project. Some of the rulers of the surrounding territories felt threatened by the restoration of the fortifications in Jerusalem and opposed the project. Despite all the opposition, how could the people raise the wall to half its height.
This was a remarkable undertaking, made possible by Nehemiah's faith and trust in God, and his determination, perseverance and courage. What was their reaction when the Jews' enemies heard that the walls were completed? The remainder of the book of Nehemiah concerns Nehemiah's administration of civil affairs and his religious and social reforms.
