6. Learning goals/competencies Students are able to define diagnosis, prognosis and therapy on small animal diseases. Apply medical emergency assistance, radiology examination, preparation of surgery; understand various surgery technology on small animal, surgery ovary hysterectomy. Having skill on handling large animals diseases, small animals, poultry, exotic animals, wild animals, aquatic, laboratory animals, properly and correctly.
7. Description/Syllabus Materials including: procedure to define diagnosis physically and based on laboratory, define diagnosis, define prognosis and therapy of small animal diseases, medical emergency assistance, radiology examination, anesthesia and surgery on small animals.
Evaluation is conducted based on student ability of make a diagnosis, define prognosis and therapy in small animal;
students understanding and skill in surgery of small animal in a proper standard.
Internship in clinic is held in 10 weeks.
