The language used in online stores was different from the language people use in everyday conversations. In this case, this research analyzed the linguistic form and the meaning of register used in online store. The researcher was taken a qualitative research for this study to identify the linguistic form of the registers and the meaning of the word registers used in the online store and to describe the meaning of the registers was used in TikTok Shop.

Background of the Study
Buying and selling is usually done in traditional markets or in shopping centers, where sellers and buyers have to meet in person, but with technological advancements, this can be changed with various applications, one of which is called TikTok Shop. Tiktok Shop is an online shopping or e-commerce application that makes it easier for consumers to find goods or products. TikTok Shop will be present in Indonesia in September 2021, the application makes it easy for buyers and sellers because buyers can see the items to be purchased without having to meet the seller and each item has a product description that shows reviews about the products offered, so it will not disappoint the buyer.
Registration in the TikTok app store is a problem that researchers want to study, because TikTok is an app that uses different languages, has different backgrounds of sellers and buyers, and TikTok is one of the online media sites that many people use. from different regions. 1.Due to the great interest in analyzing and discussing the registries used by TikTok Shop in Indonesia. 3. The use of language between buyers and sellers in the TikTok Shop is interesting to investigate because there are differences in the language used in the TikTok Shop.
From this research we can know what is the register and meaning of the register used by TikTok Shop. The researcher believes that registration at the TikTok store is very useful to be known by other researchers for the teaching and learning process and becomes a reference for researchers to seek new research.

Then citing Fishman's opinion, Kridalaksana in (Agustina, L., & Chaer, 2014) states that sociolinguistics is the study of the characteristics and functions of different language variations, as well as the relationship between language and those characteristics and functions in language society . Field refers to what is happening, the nature of the social action that is taking place: what participants are doing, what language plays a role. Noting the topic also helps the listener figure out what the point of the reading is.
One mode refers to the role that language plays in a situation and what participants expect language to do for them: the symbolic structuring of the text, its status, and its function in the context” (Martin, J. R. and Rose, 2003). The aspect of modality concerned is how the speaker delivers his message. Simply put, modality refers to the listener's expected behavior after utterances have been made.
According to (Halliday, M.A.K., & Matthiessen, 2014) Involvement (tenor) refers to who plays a role in social events, the characteristics of the participants, including the social status and roles they fulfill. Namely, the function of language use contained in expressions that ask or pose an answer to a problem or problem.

The final part of the study consists of providing a brief summary of the study and examining the collected data for analysis to verify the accuracy of the data.
The final conclusion does not only emerge during the data collection process, but must be verified so that it can be truly accounted for. In this chapter, the data is collected from the online shop in Tiktok Shop from the chat between seller and customer buyer.
