The main objective of this final project is to make a book of tourist destinations in North Rupat Subdistrict. Consisting of a highlight of Rupat Island, an explanation of tourist facilities in North Rupat district and also a map of Rupat Island. There are several stages in the making of this book such as data collection, material supply, editing process and book printing process.
This book can be used to help Tourism Office of Bengkalis Regency, local community, and especially international community to get information about tourism objects in North Rupat Subdistrict. Alhamdulillah and thanks to Allah SWT for providing me with the ability to think clearly and complete this final project on time. Khairul Amri and Anin Sari’ah as my parents, who gave their support, prayer and motivation to write this final project report, able to finish on time.
My beloved sister and brother, Nina Irma, Harsaja Mulyadi, who gave endless contributions in material and moral. Although the author has tried his best to minimize errors, this final project report is still incomplete and needs several revisions.

Based on the above problem, this study can be formulated as "How are the processes of making travel guide book Rupat Island for children?". This study will only be focused on making a Travel Guide Book of Rupat Island for Kids. The purpose of this study to make a Travel Guide Book of Rupat Island for Children.
For Bengkalis Regency Tourism Office, the product of this study can help them in promoting tourist attractions in Rupat Island. For the Local Community, the product of this study can help the local community in growing their economy by promoting the tourist attractions of Rupat Island to the International Community. For the International Community, the product of this study can get information about the tourist attractions of Rupat Island, especially for children.

5 According to Tjiptono in Krisna et al (2015, p.387), promotion is a part of the marketing mix that focuses on promotional efforts, persuading and reminding consumers of the company's brands and products. According to Buchory and Saladin in Aris Jatmika Diyatma (2017), promotion is one of the elements in the business mix used to persuade and remind of the company's products. Parents and education have put a lot of effort into seeking and equipping knowledge related to the child's environment to create children's growth.
In addition, the product of this study is expected to become one of the useful promotional items to promote Rupat Island tourism to international tourists, especially children. According to Law 23 of 2002, Article 11 on the right of children to tourism services: "Every child has the right to rest and enjoy free time, to associate with children of the same age, to play, to recreate and to be creative according to his interests, talents and intelligence level for the sake of self-development". According to Schiffman & Kanuk in Sari, et al (2021), age is a potential market segment in tourism as each age has different travel needs.
Furthermore, Kotler and Keller in Sintha (2011:42) stated that there are generally four factors that motivate consumer buying behavior, namely cultural, social, personal and psychological factors. Therefore, tourism promotion should not only be segmented for adults, but also for children. In this study, there are some tourist facilities such as Ketapang Beach, Lapin Beach and Teluk Rhu Beach in North Rupat.
In addition, there are also interesting events like Mandi Safar and Zapin Api (Fire Dance) and also some other attractive objects like Tiang Api (Lighthouse) and Banana Boat. 7 found on the internet, but also available in a book, such as travel guides or the other travel books. There are genres of travel writing, started from descriptive to narrative, from literature to journalism, and from fiction to non-fiction.
The author concludes that travel writing is a type of writing that describes places specifically to help promote a tourist destination in Rupat Island and create a positive image for the reader, especially for children.

In making Rupat Island travel guide book content for kids, there were several stages, such as cover creation, table of contents, highlights of Rupat Island tourism, explanation of what is the destination in Rupat Island, maps of events in Rupat Island, biography of the writer, translating the entire contents from Indonesian to English, making the cover of the book etc. The information has been collected from various sources who are experts in conducting Destination in Rupat Island. All contents of Rupat Island for Kids travel guide in Indonesian language, then copied and translated into English.
Then upload all the images and place the Polbeng logo in front of the book content by clicking the upload menu. The results of this study are a travel guide from Travel Guide Book of Rupat Island for Kids. The acknowledgments included a thank you note from the writer to the parties who helped a lot in making a travel guide of Rupat Island for Kids.
Obtaining valid data and information is one of the obstacles in making this book. This study aims to explain the process of making a tourist destination book in Rupat Island especially for the children. This book contains various explanations such as about Rupat Island and the tourist destination in Rupat Island.
Based on expert assessment, this promotional book is good, informative and highly educational to introduce the tourism destination in Rupat Island to the local and international community. Bengkalis Regency Tourism Office makes it easy for local and international communities to easily get information about tourist destinations in Rupat Island sub-district. The local community should read the travel guide on Rupat Island to get information easily.
Local people read the book to learn and give insight about the natural attractions that exist in Rupat Island.

This product can also help the government to promote this interesting tourist attraction to the international tourist because this book is made in English. This book contains front cover, acknowledgement, table of contents, introduction to Rupat Island, table of contents, glossaries, writer biography and back cover. Front cover features photo, book title, Bengal State Polytechnic logo.
The table of contents contains an overview of the contents of the book, in the form of titles accompanied by the page. Page number 3-18 explained about the guide, contains the meaning of in English, also explained in this page about all destinations.

Problems
Several processes were carried out in the production of products, from data collection and material supply, photography, photo editing processes, design processes and product printing processes. From creating the front cover, inserting photos and creating the entire content to the back cover with Canva. There are several proposals for the Bengkalis Regency Tourism Office, the local community and the international community.
The Bengkalis Regency Tourism Office should use the tourist guidebook to promote tourism in Riau, especially Rupat Island, so that the local community and the international community are more familiar. Therefore, the Bengkalis Regency Tourism Office can use the book to help them get information easily. The international community should read the book to get information easily, especially for the children.
The international community should read this book to learn and increase their knowledge about the natural tourist destination in Rupat Island, especially for children.
