The Title of Skripsi : Enriching Students' Vocabulary Mastery by using flashcard and crossword puzzle media at 7th grade of smpn 3 mattiro sompe kab. Title Skripsi : Enriching students' vocabulary mastery using flashcards and crossword media in grade 7 smpn 3 mattiro sompe kab. Enriching Students' Vocabulary Mastery by using flashcard and crossword puzzle media at 7th grade of smpn 3 mattiro sompe Kab.

In this case, the researcher found that some students of SMPN 3 Mattiro Sompe still master the rights in their vocabulary. The first result of the data analyzed that the students' performance on the pre-test was (81.1) and post-test (92.2). process at SMPN 3 Mattiro Sompe. This means that there is another improvement before and after using flashcard and crossword media as a technique of teaching.

Flashcard is a card with words with words and sometimes a picture down and crossword is a puzzle with set of squares to be filled with words, it would make students happy and easier to learn vocabulary. Are the flashcard and crossword media able to increase the student's vocabulary mastery in 7th grade students in SMPN 3 Mattiro Sompe. How students' vocabulary mastery before and after using Flashcard and Crossword media in 7th grade students in SMPN 3 Mattiro Sompe.

To find out if Flashcard and Crossword Puzzle media can increase students' vocabulary in 7th grade students in SMPN 3 Mattiro Sompe. To know students' vocabulary mastery before and after using Flashcard and Crossword media in 7th grade students in SMPN 3 Mattiro Sompe. To help an addition teaching media to promote teaching and learning process especially for students in English department.

Thus, we can conclude that the crossword puzzle is an activity that can be used in teaching English. Thirdly, Khoirul Bahri Lubis in his research titled "Effect of Using Crossword in Rein Foreing Activity". According to the findings of the previous research above, there are many media that can be used to enrich students' vocabulary mastery, and one of them is flashcards and crossword puzzles.

And the researcher is motivated to use flashcard and crosswords as media to enrich students' vocabulary mastery. 25Khoirul Bahri Lubis, "The Effect of Using Crosswords in Enhancing Activity for Students' Vocabulary Mastery at the Fifth Grade of the Islamic Primary School (MIN) Pampangan Padang 2011" (A Dissertation: IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang, 2011). In this process, the researcher will teach vocabulary through flashcard and crossword media.

The number of students for the sample is 22 students, where the sample is only one class out of seven classes. The researcher showed one by one those word lists on the flash card about 10 seconds into each flash card by asking the students to spell those word lists by following the researcher. The researcher gave the students a set of clues and the students would fill in the crossword puzzle that related the clues.

The researcher asked the students to develop those vocabularies by writing another vocabulary related to the picture. The researcher greeted the student The researcher will teach the students using flash cards. The researcher asked the students to follow what the researcher said by showing the cards.

The data would be collected through the test analyzed quantitatively in percentage to measure the performance of the students.

Then the researcher explained the rules of flashcard and crossword media and asked some of the students to answer the question about flashcard which the researcher explained. The researcher asked to memorize the vocabulary list and practiced using flashcard and crossword media to enrich the students' vocabulary mastery. Using flashcard and crossword media, all students are motivated to get involved in the game activity.

Before the treatment, the researcher administered a pretest to determine the students' vocabulary mastery using flashcards and crossword puzzles. Students' vocabulary mastery after using flashcards and crossword puzzle media in the 7th grade students of SMPN 3 mattiro sompe. The researcher administered a post-test after the treatment to determine the students' vocabulary mastery by using flashcards and crossword puzzles during six sessions.

The researcher gave a post-test to know the students' vocabulary mastery after the treatment by applying flashcards and media crosswords for 6 meetings. Increasing vocabulary mastery of 7th grade students of SMPN 3 Mattiro sompe using flashcards and media crosswords. The result explained that the pre-test and post-test are used to measure the knowledge of the students obtained in the treatment by applying flashcards and crossword media in this research.

With another word to measure the students' knowledge level of vocabulary mastery is the application of flashcard and crossword media. It proved that the students got improvement in their vocabulary mastery by applying flash card and crossword media. Before giving a treatment, the students got good category, but after doing treatment by applying flash card and crossword media, the students got excellent category, it means that there is improvement with students' vocabulary mastery.

Test of meaningful level of the students' vocabulary mastery by using flashcard and crossword flashcard and crossword.

Discussion

In addition, the materials were also not good enough to use, as the materials were almost the same and less varied. These conditions caused a bad effect on the students, so the students got a low score in vocabulary mastery. Some difficulties arose during the introduction of flashcard and crossword media to improve students' vocabulary mastery.

The first was related to time management, and the students were also disturbed by the noise, so the researcher had difficulty controlling the students as they explained the vocabulary material. There are some benefits to using flashcards and crossword puzzle media: It can improve student performance. These media have helped the students improve their vocabulary mastery in English by learning in a fun and interesting way.

After applying flashcard and crossword media in the class during the teaching of vocabulary, the researcher found that some of students seem to be attractive to do the vocabulary test. After calculating and analyzing the data, the researcher found that the result showed that flash card and crossword media can improve students' vocabulary mastery. In addition, some previous studies have proven that flashcard and crossword media can improve students' vocabulary mastery and it also works in this research.

The application of these media proved the theory that 'flashcards and crossword puzzle media helped students remember words with the correct spelling words. Moreover, it is observed that the students are more eager and interested in learning English. Especially when implementing flashcards and crosswords, this method was proven to influence students' vocabulary mastery. Based on the value of the students, the researcher concludes that flashcard and crossword puzzle media help them improve their vocabulary mastery.

In addition, flashcards and crossword media are a complete package that can train students' spelling and vocabulary.

Flashcards and crossword media were not only motivating and fun, but could also provide excellent exercises to improve students' vocabulary mastery. Using flashcard and crossword media is considered to be very effective and the researcher indirectly adds an element of fun and relaxation in vocabulary practice. The purpose of using media in the teaching process is to make the material more interesting, entertaining and challenging, especially by introducing new vocabulary.

In this medium, students not only memorize the word, letter by letter, but also speak boldly in front of people. In addition, students not only develop their vocabulary but can also practice speaking or understanding the meaning, class word, similar meaning, definition and how to use the word in a sentence. The researcher found that all students were interested in using cards and crossword puzzles in the learning process.

English teacher should teach students how to explain something in good explanation or description so that students can practice or use English in daily life as well. The teacher should give more opportunities to the students to be more active and let the students do some practice. The teacher must trust the students that they are capable of doing those activities on their own.

Members should express themselves on improving their vocabulary and not reduce the motivation to learn vocabulary anywhere and anytime. Members should repeat to memorize English vocabulary in daily life because practice makes perfect. There have been many more media, techniques, methods, strategies and games in English teaching, and flashcard and crossword media are one of the teaching techniques.
