2. Job Purpose

To provide engineering drawings of land preparation : sloping area, back slope, reclamation access road, contour drain, ripping, drainage, basin, settling pond and other Mine Reclamation facilities those are accurate, comprehensive, understandable and constructible and accordance with PTVI standards and procedure.

3. Main Accountabilities (5 – 8 accountabilities)

1. Recognizing dangerous risk against human, equipment or environment and taking safety action immediately to avoid the risk,

2. Performing tool box meeting each time giving new tasks and doing safety talk at least once a month and discussing or refreshing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as needed, 3. Performing safety inspection/audit at least once a week to the crew, equipment and work site

and immediately following up the results especially if faulty happens,

4. Performing investigation in every Incident/Accident and reporting it to Manager or OHS officer,

5. Actively attending/ applying safety program and giving example to the crew through his/her action and possessing certificate of mine supervisor competence test,

6. Following up recommendation based on Accident Report (issued by Team or Supervisor), 7. Holding ESDM certificate of First Supervisor competence (POP) test.

8. Design drafting of engineering drawings that comply with PTVI standards and are accurate, usable, maintainable, comprehensive, understandable and constructible,

9. Material take-off and preparation of Bills of Materials, for accurate estimation of costs and procurement of materials,

10. As-built record updating, to ensure accurate records for PTVI Maintenance operations, 11. Manage document preparation and issue in accordance with PTVI Standard to ensure no

duplication of drawings and quick identification and quick recovery of drawing records,

12. Manage development of design drawings requirements in conjunction with the Mine Reclamation Engineer, to enable construction and maintenance,

13. Provide thematic map as requirement of mine reclamation report,

14. Complete checking and verification of designs, details and dimensions completed by other designers for compliance with PTVI standards,

15. Explaining how to accomplish the tasks, reminding team to work in line with SOP and prioritizing LK3,

16. Finding alternatives (work force, equipment and work place) when interruption happens during work operation,

17. Asking question to subordinates to make them sure that they have understood task explanation by building solid two-way communication with employees.

18. All documentation must be stored and preserved. Storage of documentation will be a combination of electronic and hardcopy files. Items include: Land Preparation Register, Inspection Reports and Field Documentation, Land Preparation performance report, Schedules, Consumption Tracking, Costing Data, Minutes of Meeting & Email Communication

19. Coordinate with other parties to understand the future need and requirements of the areas in regards to Land Preparation,

20. Maintain an effective working relationship with other parties.

6. Working Relationships

a. Internal Relations

This role will interact significantly with all departments in PTVI, ranging from internal Mining to operational and operational support departments. The interaction will be in the form of :

• Coordinate the update of key business process with Mine Planning, Mine Survey, Mine Hydrology and compliance and Mine Operation,

• Identification of design and control deficiencies, proposed recommendation and monitoring the close out of the deficiencies.

b. External Relations

• Work closely with EHS team for compliance to ESDM and KLHK

7. Authority

a. Decision Making

• Lead recognized root of the problem,

• Learning all possible steps to achieve the best solution to solve the problem,

• Involving others (experienced person or new hires) to solve the problem when needed,

• Deciding the solution and then taking action,

• Following up to know if the problem is completely solved,

• Creating reports of problem solving whether good or bad ones,

• Able to prepare accurate Land preparation monitoring report on the right time,

• Able to assist Mine Reclamation Engineer perform his/her work on the right time,

• Able to perform the work of Mine Reclamation Engineer when assigned to do so,

• Able to do field supervision on contractors that conducting Land Preparation projects.

b. Recommendation

• Creating or accomplishing readable, understandable, complete and accurate reports.

• The reports should be understandable and can be communicated to workers, team, and superintendent.

• Creating reports containing information on EHS, operational interference (workforce, equipment, work place condition).

(i) Physical Effort
