Zwei Midglieder sind dieses Jahr in den Verein aufgenommen worden und eins ist gestorben das macht die Midglider zahl siebenundfünfzig der Verein
machte einen reinen Gewinn von
366 Thlr 57 zent. Der Verein hat Geld aus- geborgt an Noten zu 6 Prezent. 3575 Thlr
und Grund Eigenthum zu 1400 Thlr und Pörsenliches Eigenthum was eine Versicherung hat von 300 Thlr und der
Kassenbestand dazu gerechnet 208, Thlr und 32 zent hat der Verein ein Vermögen von 5483 Thlr und 32 zent.

Two members joined the society this year and one member died so the current membership is 57 members.
The society made a pure profit of 366. 57. The society loant out 3, 575 thaler at a 6% interest rate. The society owns capital of 1, 400 thaler and personal property which is insured for 300 Thaler. Adding the treasury of 208. 32 the total capital is 5, 483. 32.
The bookkeeping was examined and pronounced correct.

Twenty-eighth year, eighth regular business meeting. The meeting was called to order by the president, last meeting’s minutes and the yearly report were read and approved.
The president appointed the illness committee as follows: Hermann Stienecke in charge of the South district; Heinrich Hohlt in charge of the West district and C. A. Lentz in charge of the
North district. It was decided for the first time to receive a funeral report from this committee.
The president approved that the current market committee remains acting for another year.
We agreed the by-laws need to be revised and improved and gave this task to the secretary. It was decided for the president to appoint a new committee to work on obtaining a vehicle license. This will protect the society in the case of an accident. Wm. Buscher and Wm.
Maschmeier were elected to serve on it. We decided to purchase six dozen black gloves and give every member a pair. Should a member forget to bring his black gloves or mourning rose to a funeral he will be fined 50 cents. We decided the president and the secretary will ride in the hearse at a funeral because they have to act as marshals at the proceedings.
At this point the meeting was adjourned.
