Das Com. welches ernannt war, um die nöthigen Vorberei tungen für den Ball zu machen berichtet, daß solches alles geshen ist, u. der Ball am 17ten Nov. in der South Side Turner Hall stattfindet.
Das Ball-Com. besteht aus folgende Herrn:

The sick committee reported that Hy Weiland reported himself sick on 3 Nov.
The committee which was named to make the necessary preparations for the ball
reported that everything is in order and the ball will occur on 17 Nov. in the South Side Turner Hall.
The Ball Committee is composed of the following men:
C. Brehob, Fred Lange, Hy Weiland, Hy. Tempelmeier, Wm Klinge, Fritz Meier, Gus Fisher, Carl Marschke.
The committee was allowed all liberties. The motion that new candidates must be inspected by a doctor was discarded

Unterstützungs Vereins wurde durch den
Präsident Herrn Wilh Behrens eröffnet.
Das Protocoll der letzten Versammlung wurde ange nommen, mit Ausnahme eines Satzes, welche nicht Nahmhaft gemacht wurden soll, weil gegen die Constitu tion ist.
Da das Untersuchings Com für Mall nicht anwesend war wurde ein neues ernannt.
Dieses besteht aus Hy. Weiland + Chas Heger
Das für Herm Marschke war ebenfalls nicht anwesend.
u. wurde Hy. Voelker u. Claus Kahle erwählt
Antrag wurde gestellt u.
unterstützt über beide Herrn mit einmal abzustimmen u. unter Constitutionsmäßig zu verfahren.
Beide wurde einstimmig auf genommen
Candidat Wm Behrman 38 Jahre alt wohnhaft 1422 Lexington Ave wurde vorgeschlagen von C Kahl, Hy Weiland. Antrag Consitutions mäßig zu verfahren.

53 Indianapolis, the 5th of Dec 1898 The meeting of the Heimaths Unterstützungs Verein was opened by the president, Mr. Wilh. Behrens.
The minutes of the last meeting were accepted with the exception of one sentence, which was not made to be acceptable,
because it is against the Consitution.
Because the search committee for Mall was not present a new one was named.
This is composed of Hy. Weiland + Chas Heger
The one for Herm Marschke was also not present
and Hy Voelker and Chas Kahle were named.
A motion was forwarded and supported concerning both men to vote
and proceed in accordance with the constitution.
Both were unanimously accepted.
Candidate Wm Behrman, 38 years old, residing at 1422 Lexington Ave was nominated by C. Kahl,
Hy. Weiland. Motioned to proceed in accordance with the constitution.
