This course is a compulsory course and offered in the 7th semester (odd semester).

Teaching methods used in this course are:
- Lecture (i.e., group investigation, small group discussion, case study, and video based learning)
-Structured assignments (i.e., essays and case study)
The class size for lecture is 30 students.
Contact hours for lecture is 27 hours, assignments (structured tasks) is 32 hours and learn individually 32 hours
Workload For this course, students are required to meet a minimum of 87 hours in one semester, which consist of :
-23 hours for lecture
-32 hours for structured assignments -32 hours for learn individually
Credit points 2 credit points (equivalent with 3 ECTS) Requirements
according to the examination regulations
Students must have attended all classes and submitted all class assignments that are scheduled before the final tests.

Course Learning Objectives :
1. Explain working drawings, installation, quantity of materials, layout and cost plans for single-phase electric power installations (20)
2. Explain the standing operational procedure (SOP), K3 and the use of work tools and work materials in the installation of lighting, panels and lightning installations (20)
3. Explain the stages of installation and measurement of the earthing system (20)
4. Explaining working drawings, installation, amount of materials, layout and cost plans for three-phase electric power installations (20)
5. Explain the workings and functions of 20 kv medium voltage panels and power transformers (20)
Content Students will learn about:
provide knowledge about single-phase electric power installations; working drawings (drafts) of single-phase electric power installations; number of materials, layout and cost plan for single-phase electric power installations; standing operational procedure (SOP) on the installation of lighting, panels and lightning installations; K3 (security, electricity safety and work safety) on the installation of lighting, panels and lightning installations; use of work tools and work materials in the installation of lighting, panels and lightning installations;
installation and measurement of the earthing system; lightning system and components (lighting rod); installation of lightning rods (lighting rod); 3 phase electric power installation; amount of materials, layout and cost plan for 3-phase electric power installation; synchronization of electric power systems; electrical installation components using a busbar system; electrical installations with cable line protectors in accordance with puil;
installation of 20 kv medium voltage panels and power transformers; function of 20 kv medium voltage panel and power transformer
Forms of Assessment
Assessment is carried out based on written examinations, assessment/evaluation of the learning process and performance with the following components: Structured tasks: 40% ; Mid Test : 30% Final Test: 30%

Study and examination requirements:
- Students must attend 15 minutes before the class starts.
- Students must switch off all electronic devices.
- Students must inform the lecturer if they will not attend the class due to sickness, etc.
- Students must submit all class assignments before the deadline.
- Students must attend the exam to get final grade.
