Vocabulary Mastery of MTs Al-Jamil Bare Eleh, Aik Bual, Kopang, Central Lombok' aimed to find out the effect of using educational posters on students' vocabulary. The design of this research was pre-experimental design one group pre-test post-test. Based on the results of this research, educational posters were an effective medium for teaching vocabulary, the mean score of pre-test was 52.27 and the mean score of post-test was 84.69.

Nilai minimum post-test adalah 75 dan nilai maksimum post-test adalah 95. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini, poster pendidikan adalah media yang efektif untuk mengajar kosa kata, nilai rata-rata pre-test adalah 52,27 dan nilai rata-rata setelah - tes adalah 84,69.

INTRODUCTION

The Statement of Problem and Research Limitation

Many previous studies are identical to this study, the first related study was conducted by Izza Maulana Rohman research entitled "The Effectiveness of Using Pictures in Teaching Vocabulary". English vocabulary. In addition, the study was conducted by Sabrye Sener titled "Using Posters in the EFL Classroom: An Elementary School Case". The research was done to investigate the effect of posters on vocabulary learning by students without teacher instruction. The basic process of language learning is to increase knowledge of vocabulary. The lack of knowledge of the vocabulary can be a serious problem for many students.

The score of the students on the pre-test and post-test is shown in the table below. The test hypothesis of this study was used to measure the effectiveness of educational media on students' vocabulary mastery.

Objective and Significant of Research

Definition of Key Term

Vocabulary is the backbone of any language, without mastery of vocabulary someone will have difficulty in communicating even if they master grammar. Furthermore, Mofareh argues that vocabulary can be defined as words that people should know to communicate effectively, words for speaking and words for listening. Based on the above definition, we can define that vocabulary is the total number of words that require a role in language learning.

It is a common attribute that can be punched out in class, usually includes a visual component and text. Educational posters can be a new breakthrough in vocabulary teaching, because learning vocabulary is a boring lesson in school, and many students don't like this lesson because they felt boring and different, so posters can be a new teaching tool to attract attention attract students.

REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE AND RESEARCH

Theoretical Bases

The null hypothesis states that there is no significant effect of the purpose of the study. While alternative hypothesis is the hypothesis that states that there is a significant effect of the implementation of the research. It was used to know that the use of educational posters had a significant effect in increasing students' vocabulary mastery.

To obtain an average score for pre- and post-tests, the researcher used SPSS for Windows evolution 15.0. descriptive analysis used for the result of the mean and standard deviation. Based on the table above, the mean score of the students was significantly increase, it can be seen from the mean score of pre-test and post-. As for the results of the normality test for Post-test scores are shown in the following table.

In testing effect size, the researcher needs the pretest mean score and the pretest standard deviation, as well as the posttest needs. The effect size data was d=2.96, this shows the great effect of implementing educational Posters on students' vocabulary mastery practically in MTs Al-Jamil Bare Eleh, Aik Bual, Kopang, Central Lombok. The research findings show that the Educational Poster was an effective educational media for vocabulary learning.

Based on the research result, the researcher gives some suggestions, for the school, this research predicts that the use of educational posters can improve students' vocabulary mastery, it can be used as an alternative educational media for teaching vocabulary. Therefore, vocabulary learning should be taught using an engaging media that makes students interested in learning vocabulary. Students have to learn the vocabulary on their own when they are in class. Therefore, Educational Posters should be applied in vocabulary teaching to solve the aforementioned problem.

Educational Posters are one of the media about learning vocabulary that facilitate the students' interest to obtain certain criteria of indicator. As statement above, it is hoped that meaningful practice will make students interested in learning vocabulary, make them memorize easily and increase their vocabulary while teaching using educational posters.

RESEARCH METHOD

Instrument of Research

The instruments in this study consisted of two tests such as pre-test and post-test. The purpose of the pre-test was to know the vocabulary knowledge of the students and the post-test aims to know the improvement of the students' vocabulary knowledge after applying educational posters as media in vocabulary learning. Based on the above data, the data shows that the mean pre-test score was 52.27 and the post-test mean score was 84.69, the minimum pre-test score was 30, and the post-test test was 75, and the pre-test maximum score was 80 and the post-test maximum score was 95.

Based on the above data, it can be seen that the mean score of the pre-test was 52.27 and the mean score of the post-test was 84.69. Ho (null hypothesis) is accepted if the result of sig. 2-tailed)> 0.05 means that the use of educational posters has no significant effect on students' vocabulary mastery. From the comparison between the pre-test and the post-test after giving the treatment using educational posters, the mean score of the pre-test was 52.27 and the mean score of the post-test was 84.69.

Furthermore, based on the t-test, the mean pre-test score was 52.27 and the mean post-test score was 84.69, indicating that there was significant improvement. This means that the use of educational posters had a significant effect of the use of educational posters on students' vocabulary mastery at MTs Al-Jamil Bare Eleh, Aik Bual, Kopang, Central Lombok. The test effect size estimate was 2.96, indicating that the implementation of the educational poster on students' vocabulary mastery was an effective education.

It increases students' vocabulary mastery as seen by pre-test and post-test scores. He helped the students to enrich their vocabulary knowledge by teaching them using educational posters for the students to show the improvement of their vocabulary knowledge as seen by the mean score of pre-test and post-test b. Based on the previous discussion, it can be concluded that the Educational Poster has a significant effect on vocabulary mastery, applying educational posters can improve students' vocabulary mastery, and based on the previous discussions, it was concluded that the implementation of the Educational Poster gave a significant effect on students' vocabulary can be seen in their mean pre-test and post-test scores.

Techniques of Data Analysis

Validity and Reliability

The instrument that can be clarified to be reliability if the instrument has a similarity of the data in the different time. The descriptive statistical analysis of the students' vocabulary mastery before and after the treatment using educational posters is presented in this chapter. Before the researcher conducted the treatment, they were tested to know their vocabulary before the treatment.

After the treatment, researchers also give them post-tests to know what their performance is after teaching students with the help of educational posters. Rita argues that the role of educational Posters on learning process has a significant effect for teachers to cover learning, attending Posters can transfer learning and it facilitates the teachers to explain the subject, also it helps students to understand the subject more easily understand.59 Educational posters can be a new breakthrough to teaching vocabulary, because learning vocabulary is a boring lesson in school and for many students do not like this lesson because they felt boring and different, so posters can be a new be learning media to attract students' attention. Croll claims that the most difficult part of language teaching is vocabulary, because vocabulary learning is usually boring for the students and it takes a lot of time60.

We can conclude that the educational Poster in teaching vocabulary result shows that a significant effect on their vocabulary knowledge. For a teacher, the learning result using educational posters can be guided in the learning process, and for further researchers, this topic can be revisited, because this research only uses one group without a control group (pre-experimental), for the next one, the researcher can use a quasi or true experimental design .
