scale insectsreceived by the Bureau of Entomology from
Sr.P. Jorgensen. This
collectionwas obtained
invarious parts of the Argentine Republic during the period 1909
to1911. At the time of publication
itwas believed that
allthe specimens received from
Sr.Jorgensen had been examined, but
itwas subsequently discovered
that,due
tothe crowded condition of the general coccid
collection atthe U.
S.National Museum, some of
hismaterial had been stored sepa- rately and had not been located
atthe time the bulk of the
col- lectionwas studied. Under such circumstances
itseems desirable
toplace on record the remainder of the species included
in thismaterial and
tomake some additions and correct some
errors which, on
Sr.Jorgensen's authority, appeared
inthe
earlierpaper.
A correction which needs particular notice
isthe following:
Bomplana, Misiones Territory should be Bompland. The
writer followed
Stieler'sAtlas of Modern Geography, 9th Edition, Gotha, 1912, which gives both
