The middle of 1990 marks a more serious concern for PPME's boards about the Koran lesson. The children of the members of PPME in The Hague took Cara Cepat Belajar Membaca al-Qur'an (the quick method of learning to recite the Qur'an) called "Iqra" (Read!), written by an Indonesian writer, As'ad Humam. 19 The use of Iqra for the children in PPME was a few years later than the experience with the same method.
Since the end of 1998, the children of the PPME congregation in Amsterdam have been taught the Iqra method for their Quranic learning. At the end of the year, Siti Atma, a member of the association who is responsible for teaching, brought Iqra from Indonesia and presented it to the PPME board in Amsterdam. Then, after purchasing a mus} alla (a prayer room) called al-Ittihaad (Integration) in October 1982, the group discusses Islamic topics in the mus} alla and not in the homes of PPME members.
The PPME board has been given permission to use the mosque, in particular for the activities of the branch in The Hague. This also happened for the same reason for the period before the purchase of the mus} alla, i.e. considering the facts ikhtilāt\\ which was there first because of the lack of accommodation, is kept in the PPME of The Hague because of its taking into account the characteristics of its members and the context of the Netherlands.
Nevertheless, for Indonesian couples, the PPME will invite the marriage officer of the Indonesian embassy in the Netherlands. This indicates that the establishment of the organization and the nationality background of the couples have attracted special attention from the PPME boards in providing assistance. Since the early 1990s, second generation PPME members in the Netherlands – the children of the founders and congregations, not the children of those who migrated to the country for family reunification93 – have established their own group called Pengajian Remaja (Learning from Islam for youth). ).
As a consequence, most topics covered in the bulletin were written by the members of the group themselves. This section will explore the Dutch-speaking group in PPME in The Hague, mostly consisting of the husbands of the wives of PPME members. Before the program called Islamic Education for Dutch-speaking group, the husbands of Indonesian wives of PPME members in The Hague participated in a program called Islamic Education for Indonesian.
The 2008 Dauroh activities took place in the main room in the center of PPME Amsterdam, later in mid-2010 called at-Taqwa. In PPME's activities, yasinan and tahlilan have been performed as the initial part of istigha>thah. Instead of performing istigha>thah (including tahlilan and yasinan), the members of the board of PPME Amsterdam preferred Dauroh.
Such diversity has been evident among the members of PPME in The Hague, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Breda-Tilburg.
Through the Oeuvres available in al-Ittihaad (1985) and Euromoslem (1992)
In this event, the chairman of the PPME addressed the Indonesian tradition of Halal Bihalal, an opportunity to apologize among its participants. This article presents the picture of the homeland based on the observation and the feeling of the author describing Indonesia from the author's perspectives. Chaeron – the former journalist of Masyumi's newspaper called Abadi 189 – put forward an idea of integrating the curriculum of PPME's religious education for children with that of Indonesian Islamic formal education.
This was presented in a one-day seminar held on August 26, 1995 at the SIN Kiat Mencari Pendikam Baru Pendidikan Agama di Era Globalisasi (Keys to Search for New Approaches in Religious Education in the Era of Globalization).190 Secondly, in al-Ittihaad of the edition of November 1996, K.H. Zainuddin, M.Z.,191 a graduate of the State Institute of Islamic Studies (IAIN, later called Universitas Islam Negeri [UIN, Islamic State University]) Jakarta and the "preacher of a million umma [audiences]",192 writes about the importance for. Jajat Burhanudin, "Traditional Islam and Modernity: Some Notes on the Changing Role of the Ulama in Early Twentieth Indonesia", in Azyumardi Azra et al, Varieties of Religious Authority: Changes and Challenges in 20th Century Indonesian Islam (Singapore: . ISEAS, 2010 ) ), p.
Ethics is emphasized as 'ibādatun mah} d} a (worship) while the latter is juridical-formalist ethics.194 This shows the characteristics of the bulletin in the period of the 1990s, i.e., this implies that the bulletin served not only as a provider. of religious knowledge, but also as a media that accommodates the various backbones of the association in the religious domain, but al-Ittihaad is no longer solid in the following periods. 195 See: Burhanudin, "Traditional Islam and Modernity: Some Notes on the Changing Role of the Ulama in Early Twentieth Indonesia", in Azra et al, Varieties of Religious Authority, p.
Disunity among the PPME Amsterdam congregation in 2005 resulted in the absence of printed versions of Euromoslem and led to the creation of its digital form211 such as “euromoslem@. Then information about upcoming events was sent to members and supporters of PPME Amsterdam to one of the email addresses mentioned above. When upcoming events such as the 'īd al-ad} h} ā prayer schedule in 2009 and "Dauroh Ilmiyyah Islam (Upgrading Islamic Knowledge)" in 2009-2010 with Abu Haidar were informed, for example through the media@ euromuslim. org articles about Islam were sent through another email address.
The content of the current digital Euromoslem has been distributed mostly weekly to its members and sympathizers. 217 Ah} gal Faiz Asifuddin (one of Indonesian Salafi leaders) has been the managing director of As-Sunnah magazine since 1996. Conflict in the PPME Amsterdam congregation in mid-2005 drives the feature in the current bulletin to a single Salafi- religious orientation.
