Solar energy is one of the main energy resources in warm countries such as Indonesia. It bring significant potential and great future in the field of solar energy generation. A few research have been done in Indonesia in particular field of solar energy generation, especially in mechatronic design of solar tracking. This past research is giving an inspiration to start a new research to determine the best interval time from the existing solar tracking system [1] in order to reach best performance.
This research is using analytical methodology and use secondary data to simulate the solar tracking movement based on interpolation approach and was define 6 interval consist of 5, 10, 15, 30, 45 and 60 minute.
The solar tracking system reach it best performance with interval 45 minute. The Total Net Power Gained increase by 28.48 %.

YUDHA KHOSALA DEDICATION
I dedicated this work for my parents and my family who had encourage all of us to become well education person and to be more useful for other.
I dedicate this works for the future of the country I loved Indonesia as small contribution to participate and to be aware of green energy part of reducing pollution in the country.
YUDHA KHOSALA ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
I wish to thank to Swiss German University in Indonesia especially faculty of Engineering &
Information Technology. I'm very proud to be a student of Master Mechanical Engineering Program Concentration in Mechatronic.
Their gentle but firm direction has been most appreciated. Dr. Rusman Rusyadi was particularly helpful in guiding me toward a qualitative methodology. Dr. Ir Gembong Baskoro, M.Sc.
Coadvisoris’s interest in sense of competence was the impetus for my proposal. Finally, I would like to thank to Dr. Ir. Gembong Baskoro as a Dean of MME-IT, and all lectures Ir. Dedy Loebis, MBA, M.Sc., Ph.D., Dr. Rusman Rusyadi, Dr. Ir Hanny J. Bershmans, M.T., M.Sc. and Dr.
Yunita Ummiyati, S.Si M.Sc. From the beginning, they had confidence in my abilities to not only complete a degree but to complete it with excellence.
I have found my coursework throughout the Curriculum and Instruction program to be stimulating and thoughtful, providing me with the tools with which to explore both past and present ideas and issues.
