Summary of Assessment Report of the RSPO Certification
5 years from 2015, on Location Permit. The results showed that the management unit complied with the OSH regulations related to the activities of oil palm plantations. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that the certificate holder's operating procedures are appropriately documented and consistently implemented and monitored. Certificate holder regularly monitored the changes in the nutrient status based on the periodic soil and leaf analysis.
The certificate holder has implemented nutrient recycling strategies such as EFB mulching and POME soil application. The certificate holder has a map of peat soil types based on the study by the EMU department in 2016. Based on the field observation it is known that the certificate holder has several strategies to manage sandy areas with low organic matter.
Certificate holder has a regular medical check-up program for maintenance employees in estate MSM 1 & 2. Based on an interview with MSM POM employee, it is known that certificate holder has provided internal training for safety work, such as first aid training by company doctor. The certificate holder has complied with the social impact program and followed the participatory ways for its implementation.
Based on the information gathered during the stakeholder consultation with the local communities (Penda Durian Village and Tanjung Bantur Village), the certificate holder has built the access road connecting Pahirangan Village, Penda Durian and Tanjung Bantur. The certificate holder has peatland soil type maps based on the EMU Department survey in 2016.

The company has a good routine reporting system and timely possession, such as routine report of Environmental Management Plan / Environmental Monitoring Plan in each semester. Throughout the year 2013 to 2017 (when the public consultation was carried out) there was no report related to environmental pollution caused by the company's operational activities. Auditors have verified the aspects related to agronomic and processing, environmental permits and monitoring.
In general, the relationship between the company and the communities around the plantations and smallholdings cooperative is quite good and harmonious, communication between the communities and the company is quite good. The Collective Labor Agreement between the cooperative and the company for the development of the estates is quite transparent and fair. Other support from the company that gives time for the board to socialize, and management always reminds the female committee meeting schedule.
The company has socialized policies related to the prohibition of pregnant or lactating workers working with chemicals. The company has an obligation which was quite good to pay attention to the welfare of the employees.
