Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Alamin, the writer would like to convey the highest gratitude to the almighty. Allah SWT for his guidance, blessing and mercy and so that the writer can complete the proposal entitled “the use of animation movies for the development of students' writing skill of narrative skill (a classroom action research on the eleventh year Students of SMA Negeri 2 Sungguminasa) . In writing a proposal, the writer faced many problems, but the writer can finish at the end.

Pd., M.Pd who have suggested, motivated and patiently corrected me for the sake of my proposal. All my brother and sister who always support me and gave me support and prayers for my success. Unforgettable thanks to my close friends at UKM Seni Budaya Talas for his support and help during the process of writing this proposal. And all my EDSA O8 Class N friends, and all my friends I can't mention for their support.

And last special thanks especially to my brother Dhydink Ar-rasyid he gave me support, prayer for my success and always supported me until I finish this proposal. In the end, the writer hopes that this suggestion is useful for my reader, my friend, to increase the quality of teaching and learning.

Background

The writer believed that movies can also be used as an alternative method in teaching narrative text writing because the students get a new experience in the class, and for the teacher, a movie can be used as an alternative teaching method that is suitable with their classroom. In this research, the researcher will try to increase the student's writing skill in SMA Negeri 2 Sungguminasa. The researcher chooses that school because there are some problems which are related to writing skills that the students are facing.

In this case, the researcher will apply a general structure and coherence technique to enhance the student's writing ability. This technique enables students to acquire the vocabulary of a language as much as possible, in this case students must master the vocabulary actively and consist of knowledge, word meaning, word structure and support the effectiveness of language use. The process of developing a visual aid can be given to students by using a UP film in a writing class.

Students will explore a genre of writing that is narrative text and they can share their idea, opinion and own experiences. Based on the above background, the researcher conducts a study under the title "The use of animation films to develop students' writing skills for narrative texts (A classroom action research at eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Sungguminasa).

Problem Statement

Where students score in diagnostic testing is different than students' test in the first cycle. Based on the percentages above, there are significant improvements for students using animated films with narrative texts. To clearly see the improvement in students' writing grammar, the following graphic is presented.

Therefore, there was an improvement in the students' content and the goal can be achieved. The data in the table above showed the students' writing skills in organization as a result of calculating cycle I and cycle II of the students. Based on the percentages above, there was a significant improvement in students using animated films with narrative texts.

Therefore, there has been an improvement in the organization of students and the goal can be achieved. The implementation of animated films of narrative texts in improving students' writing skills included grammar and organization. There was also a significant improvement in students' writing skills from I to II.

The following table and graph show the result of observing the students' activity in learning writing from cycle I to cycle II. Students' motivation in the teaching and learning process can be influenced by the Animated Films that the teacher has used. The improvement of students' ability to write good paragraphs after the implementation of Animated Films had an effect that was effective.

From table 9 and graphic 9 above, it can be seen that the written result of the student's achievements improved from the D-test to the 1st cycle and also from. The above result also proves that the effectiveness of animated movies can significantly improve students' writing achievement.

The Concept of Film

As a good teacher, we must use visual aids as a method in the teaching and learning processes, because by using visual aids the teacher can create a new atmosphere in their class, so that the students have great enthusiasm in teaching the learning process, in addition to visual aids can Help. Students need to have the concept of writing not only in their brain, but they also need to translate it into written language, and it is difficult to write concepts that exist in our brain. The author hopes that films can be an alternative method for learning to write narrative texts.

There are many methods of teaching that can be applied in teaching and learning process such as using pictures, songs, cards, games, film, drama and more methods that teacher can use. The English teacher can use any kind of method or visual aid, but they must remember that the method must be suitable for their classroom situation, it must be able to make the students feel comfortable and enjoy the lesson so that they can easily master the material. He also had the opinion in his book, visual aid for English teaching, that the use of any kind of methods aims to give the students the opportunity to express their own idea by using the language pattern they have learned.

From this statement, the author can conclude that visual aids are very important and useful in the teaching learning process so that students become more enthusiastic in learning to write in the classroom. When students make their own film as a medium in the teaching and learning process, they gain the potential to create something memorable and enjoyable.

Based on the previous study, the researcher summarizes that the narrative text is actually the narrative text as an instrument of the study. In this lesson plan, it is written that students should write a simple composition on a narrative text using film as an instrument. And also to improve their skills in writing a narrative text and to solve the problems students have in writing a text.

If the researcher teaches the students writing by using Animation Films in the learning process, it can improve the students' ability to write narrative text.

Research Method

Planning

The researcher Observed sheet aims to find out the students' data about their presence and activeness in teaching and learning process. If you remember that variable is one of the very important elements of research, the research will use two types of variables. Then reflect by seeing the result of the observation, whether the teaching-learning process the use of animation movies for the development of students' writing skill of narrative texts, success criteria achieved based on the test result of first action.

The researcher used to interview each student to know how far they understand the movie and the narrative text. 6 Excellent If the grammar of the composition is all correct in tenses, punctuation, capitalization, pronouns 5 Very good If the composition contains few grammatical errors 4 Good If the composition contains some grammatical errors 3 Fair If the composition is dominated by grammatical errors 2 Poor If the grammar of the composition is incorrect. Arranging the evaluation test to know the improvement of the result study after they watch movies.

Action

The findings of the research include the result of the data from the D-test up to the first cycle and from the first to the second cycle. cycle on students' progress in writing and improving their activity in the teaching and learning process. The data in the table above showed the students' writing ability in grammar as a result of the calculation of the diagnostic test and the students' test of students. The above result also proves that Animation Movies is able to significantly improve the writing skill of students in XI IPA 4 class of SMAN 2 Sungguminas.

The above result also proves that animated movies can significantly improve the writing skill of students in XI IPA 4 class of SMAN 2 Sungguminas. Students join by the end of Level II, students. activity at the last meeting becomes 94.6%. This means that using the technique of numbered heads together to improve students' activities during the teaching and learning process is successful.
