Summary of Assessment Report of the RSPO Certification
According to the result of the monitoring in 2015, all the poles in Tanjung Kembiri Estate (388 poles) and Tanjung Rusa Estate (596 poles) are well maintained. According to the result of interview with PT FLD and Kembiri Village, there is no new land compensation. According to the result of document review, management information and interview with the Plantation Agency, no traditional law exists within PT FLD's area of operation.
According to the result of the assessment and realization of the budget, the minus of FFB production was between 7% - 10%. According to the field visit to Tanjung Rusa and Tanjung Kembiri, there is no peat soil in these areas.
Practices maintain the quality and availability of surface and ground water
Soil management carried out by the company is through the use of organic and inorganic fertilizers with specific doses referring to the recommendation of the research team. The company prepares memorandum of letter on communication and stakeholder consultation with letter number 006/RC-BB/MEMO/VII/2013 addressed to the head of Tanjung Pandan representative office, All Manager, KTU PT FLD, RC Staff, SPO Officer, and D & L TPNO. The reporting of the environmental management and monitoring plan is routinely reported to the affiliated agency, together with the transfer certificate.
