Pasca Panen

• Setelah komoditas dipanen, perlu penanganan pasca panen yang tepat supaya penurunan kualitas dapat dihambat

• Komoditas hortikultura kebanyakan dikonsumsi dalam keadaan segar sehingga perlu penanganan pasca panen yang ekstra supaya tetap segar

• Yang dapat dilakukan setelah pemanenan hanyalah mempertahankan kualitas dalam waktu selama mungkin bukan meningkatkan kualitas

• Perlakuan utama dalam pasca panen: tujuannya menghambat

laju transpirasi dan respirasi dari komoditas

• Komoditas hortikultura, setelah dipanen masih tetap merupakan jaringan hidup

• Jaringan hidup: menjalankan aktifitas fisiologis yaitu transpirasi dan respirasi

• Transpirasi: menyebabkan hilangnya air dari komoditas, berpengaruh terhadap kesegaran/kerenyahan komoditas

• Respirasi: menyebabkan berkurangnya cadangan makanan (dalam bentuk pati, gula, dll) dalam komoditas, mengurangi rasa dari komoditas (terasa hambar), memacu senescence komoditas, memacu pembusukkan

• Transpirasi dan respirasi merupakan penyebab utama

kerusakan pada komoditas hortikultura setelah dipanen

Penanganan Pasca Panen

1. Pendinginan pendahuluan: menurunkan suhu komoditas menjadi lebih rendah dari suhu di lapangan, sehingga suhu komoditas mendekati suhu ruang simpan

2. Pencucian: membersihkan komoditas dari kotoran yang melekat, menghilankan bibit-bibit penyakit yang masih melekat

3. Pengeringan: menghilangkan air yang berlebihan pada permukaan komoditas

4. Pelapisan dengan lilin: khususnya untuk komoditas buah, tujuannya: mengurangi suasana aerobik dalam buah, memberikan perlindungan yang diperlukan terhadap organisme pembusuk

5. Sortasi mutu/grading menurut ukuran

Infographics

You can add and edit some infographics to your presentation to present your data in a visual way.

Choose your favourite infographic and insert it in your presentation using Ctrl C + Ctrl V or Cmd C + Cmd V in Mac.

Select one of the parts and ungroup it by right-clicking and choosing

“Ungroup”.

Change the color by clicking on the paint bucket.

Then resize the element by clicking and dragging one of the square-shaped points of its bounding box (the cursor should look like a double-headed arrow).

Remember to hold Shift while dragging to keep the proportions.

Group the elements again by selecting them, right-clicking and choosing

“Group”.

Repeat the steps above with the other parts and when you’re done editing, copy the end result and paste it into your presentation.
