PT Royal Inti Mandiri Abadi is a trading company located in Surabaya. This company develops the results of hard work and support of experienced personnel, prioritizing quality and good service as well as professionals. In one of the system processes, there is a problem when inputting. The petty cash disbursment, so the system needs to be improved. To make the business activities process going back well. In carrying out the procedure for spending the petty cash, there is also another problem related to COA (Chart of account) classification, the cashier whose job is inputting date of the journal, when classifying costs, usually feels confused. Because there is’t written guidance and every inputting process always ask for the classication. To overcome this problem, it’s necessary to improve the system procedure written guidelines related to the classification of COA (Chart of account), so that the cashier can be more effective inputting to the woms system.

xiii ABSTRAKSI
PT Royal Inti Mandiri Abadi merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang dagang (Distributor) yang berlokasi di Surabaya. Perusahaan ini berkembang atas hasil kerja keras dan dukungan para personel yang berpengalaman. Pada salah satu proses sistem yaitu sistem input pengeluaran kas kecil yang berjalan ditemukan kendala, jadi sistem tersebut perlu diperbaiki agar proses kegiatan usaha berjalan dengan baik. Dalam menjalankan prosedur input pengeluaran kas kecil terdapat masalah terkait penggolongan pada COA (Chart of account) yaitu fungsi tugas kasir yang salah satu tugasnya menginput jurnal ke sistem setiap menggelompokkan atau menggolongkan biaya yang di golongkan ke COA (Chart of account) sering merasa binggung karena tidak adanya panduan pedoman tertulis dari perusahaan dan setiap mau menginput fungsi kasir selalu bertanya untuk penggolongannya. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, diperlukan perbaikan sistem prosedur dengan diadakan panduan pedoman tertulis terkait penggolongan COA (Chart of account) tersebut, agar fungsi bagian kasir bisa lebih efektif dalam proses input data ke sistem woms.
