Abstract
The hydrogel is superabsorbent polymers (SAP) that are biodegradable and can be obtained from polysaccharides, lipids, and proteins. Polysaccharides include cellulose, starch and their derivatives, seaweed extracts such as carrageenan, alginate, pectin, and chitosan. Carrageenan is the result of the extraction of red seaweed sap with an alkaline solution. The main objective of this study was to simultaneously increase the strength and properties of κ- carrageenan SAP film with the addition of glyoxal and acrylamide as crosslinkers. The addition of acrylamide (variated from 1 to 7 % b/v) into the κ-Carrageenan based SAP hydrogel compound and the presence of glyoxal as crosslink agent (variated from 0 to 1,0 % v/v). The physical properties of the SAP films were analyze using swelling degree and tensile strength. The structural and morphological properties of composite films were analyzed using Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). In addition, the effect of pHs on the releasing drug Poly(vinylpyrrolidone)-Iodine was investigated. This research shows that the addition of acrylamide and glyoxal can improve the physical properties of the modified κ-carrageenan film. Characterization using SEM shows that the addition of glyoxal causes the formation of tissue fibers in SAP. FTIR spectra indicated the formation of cross bonds in modified SAP film at 3294.42 cm-1 (carboxylic acid). The treatment under alkaline conditions will increase drug release ability.

INTRODUCTION
The modification of polysaccharide as a biopolymer is a new method for the production of biomaterials. Superabsorbent polymer (SAP) has a three-dimensional polymer network that has a lot of water and usually used as carriers for therapeutic
agents in drug administration and as scaffolds for tissue modification. Various natural and synthetic polymer developments have used hydrogels as tissue breakers. (Calo, et al. 2014; Ni, et al. 2017; Graulus, et al. 2015). Several previous studies reported the use of natural polysaccharides such as carrageenan as an

Abstract
Bio-oil is the main product in the pyrolysis process which is expected to be a liquid fuel replacement solution. But the resulting bio-oil cannot be directly used because of high oxygenated compounds, high viscosity, corrosive, and unstable. Addition of activated natural zeolite catalyst to the pyrolysis process is expected to improve the quality of bio-oil to be used as a renewable liquid fuel. The research aims to determine the influence of acid concentrations on zeolite modification to the characteristics of pyrolysis products. Result of catalyst characterization indicates that zeolite activation using acid will increase Si/Al ratio as well as open the surface of previously hindered zeolite. The yield of char produced in this study tends not to undergo significant changes between the catalytic and noncatalytic pyrolysis by 33% wt. Addition of zeolite catalyst in pyrolysis proved to be able to increase the content of phenol and decrease the content of acetic acid in bio-oil by 6% . Meanwhile, yield of CO2 increases by 20% in the use of catalysts due to the release of oxygen in the oxygenate compounds. The results of this study showed that the resulting bio-oil still does not meet the specifications of liquid fuels but can be utilized as a renewable chemical feedstock.

INTRODUCTION
Primary energy consumption in Indonesia reached 998.06 BOE (Barrel Oil Equivalent) in 2016 and increased by 5.9% in 2017 (Ika, 2017; MEMR, 2017). The use of fossil energy has many negative impacts, one of them is carbon emissions which can cause global warming and climate change issue.
Renewable energy is a solution to meet future national energy needs. Recently, the use of renewable energy in Indonesia is still low, which the energy mix in the renewable energy sector is only 7.7% in 2017 (Wijiatmoko, 2017).
Biomass such as palm kernel shell can be used as a new renewable energy source because it has great potential in Indonesia. According to data from the Association of Indonesian Palm Oil Entrepreneurs (GAPKI), the potential for biomass production from the Indonesian palm oil industry in 2018 will reach around 9.46 million tons (GAPKI, 2018).
Pyrolysis is a technology that can be utilized to convert biomass into liquid (bio-oil), solid (char), and gas products. Pyrolysis is a process of thermal decomposition of biomass at temperatures of 350 to 650 oC without the presence of air or oxygen (Basu,

Abstract
Experiments were conducted to study the correlation between current density and dissolved oxygen (DO) and to develop a model for estimating the value of current density in yeast MFC based DO biosensors. A curve between current density and DO was made, and data analysis was performed using free-online data fitting, namely zunzun.com.
One linear regression and nine different exponential models were used as an approach to determine the correlation between current density and DO. Current density increased rapidly as DO concentrations increased, where high DO concentration accelerated the Oxygen Reduction Reaction (ORR) in the cathode part. The exponential model shows a better fit compared to the linear line model, with R2, SSQABS, and RMSE values were 0.9975, 0.4745, and 0.3444, respectively. The exponential equation found in the correlation was y = 1.532e0.320x. The results showed that exponential was the best model to describe the relationship between DO concentration and current density that occurred in the MFC-based DO biosensor yeast.

INTRODUCTION
Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC) is an electrochemical device that can convert chemical energy into electrical energy. Microorganisms are used as biocatalysts by consuming substrates to carry out metabolism, and then produce protons and electrons (Christwardana et al., 2017). Protons from the anode side move to the cathode side through the membrane separator, while electrons go away to the cathode side through an external circuit.
MFC can be widely used for various sectors, such as electricity generation, biohydrogen production, battery, wastewater treatment, or biosensors (Debabov, 2008; Yang et al., 2015; Zhao et al., 2017). In each use, microorganisms are located on the side of the anode along with the substrate. Each microorganism only consumes a specific substrate.
Consumption of substrate by microorganisms will activate redox reactions, especially NAD/NADH and FAD/FADH2 in the metabolism process as evidence of
