Sime Darby has achieved 34 management units in Malaysia and 24 management units in Indonesia as RSPO certified. The total management unit of Sime Darby Plantation SdnBhd is 34 in Malaysia, 25 in Indonesia and 1 in Liberia. Internal assessment in relation to the draft Liberia NI has been completed and the closing of gaps is underway.

Summary of Assessment Report of the RSPO Certification

Based on interview with surrounding stakeholders obtained information that the stakeholder already understood the information request mechanism and the company's PIC. Summary of Assessment Report of Supply Chain Requirements

Pondok Labu factory had a procedure for SCCS on 1 June 2015 with model IP in SOP number: RSPO/65/SCPP/PSA which describes the duties and responsibilities of each part; identification of raw materials and products; and implements a supply chain system. The results of the interviews with the head management and weighbridge operators at the Pondok Labu factory showed that they understand the issue of the stamp (RSPO) for the delivery note. The result of the field visit at Bulking Sekumbang shows that the RSPO certified product delivery document (CPO and PK) to the customer is not equipped with a supply chain identity model.

The site will have documented procedures for receiving and processing certified and non-certified FFBs. Pondok Labu Factory has the acceptance and processing procedure for certified and non-certified FFB as detailed in procedure for SCCS with IP module in SOP number: RSPO/65/SCPP/PSA on June 1, 2015. Based on field visit and interview in Pondok Labu Factory showed weighbridge ticket and FFB delivery note stamped “BERSERTIFIKAT RSPO” as a unique code.

Pondok Labu Factory had procedures for SCCS that describe the provision of information to SL if there is excess production of RSPO certified products. The site will record and balance all receipts of RSPO-certified FFB and deliveries of RSPO-certified CPO and PK on a tri-monthly basis. Pondok Labu Factory recorded all RSPO certified FFB entering the mill and deliveries of RSPO certified product (CSPO and CSPK).

The country must ensure and verify through documented procedures and record keeping that RSPO certified palm oil product is kept separate from non-certified material, including during transport and storage. Pondok Labu plant, PT PSA only processes FFB from RSPO certified estate, then all product is CSPO and CSPK. The objective is to achieve 100% segregated material. The Pondok Labu factory only processes FFB from RSPO-certified stock.
