From the table above, it can be concluded that the type of mistakes students make the most is selection. Analysis of the types of errors in the use of prepositions in students' descriptive text. From the three examples above, students cannot remove the prepositions because there the sentence is used to show the names of places, seas, cities, towns and villages.

That sentence is incorrect because the students did not use prepositions in their writing, the correct form, the student should write because the preposition in is also used to talk about how long. Students then make a preposition error when the preposition to is used to show purpose. The third is the preposition omission with, the students made mistakes in the preposition with is a lot for example:.

The entire sentence, omission of the preposition with, is incorrect in the sentence (Text 16) because the students have omitted the preposition with. This sentence is incorrect because the students did not use the preposition by when writing. The correct form should be preposition by because the preposition by is used to show the name of the person who wrote a book, directed a movie, created a work of art, etc. This sentence is incorrect because the students do not preposition on used in their writing.

The students left out the preposition on, for example: Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on the Moon. According to Amar Khant Jha, the insertion is that the students made the mistake of using prepositions, they usually used prepositions even though it is not necessary. This sentence is incorrect, students chose preposition on because preposition on is used to explain about a position touching a flat surface of something such as: a floor, a wall.

The sentence shows that there are some prepositions in the sentence and the students made mistakes in selecting from the sentences. The first time on July 20, 1989, this sentence should be amended with for. The next sentence is that astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin landed the Apollo 11 lunar module on the surface from the moon. So correct: Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin landed the Apollo 11 lunar module on the surface from the moon.
