Myiotriccus gen. nov. (Tryannidte.)

Similar to Aphanolriccus in those structural characters

which

separate the latter from Myiobius, but outermost primaries longer (tenth equal to second orthird, ninth longerthan fifth or sixth),tail

Atalotriccus gen. nov. (Tyrcmnidse.)

Similarto Colopteryx

Ridgway

(ex ColopterusCabanis, preoccupied),but head without crest, four, instead ofthree, outer primaries greatlyreduced in size (thereduction excessive

and

the feathersvery narrow

much

narrower.

Placostomus

gen. nov. (Tyrannidse.}

SimilartoPlatyrinchus Desmarest,butlatero-frontalfeathers

Orodynastes

gen. nov. (Tyrannidse.)

Agreeing with Cnemarchusinallthe characters

which

separate thelatter fromMyiotheretes(except presence of rufous

rump and

absenceof rufouson

and

strong,theexposed cul

nearly as longas middle toe, with claw; nostril
