Cellphone Should be allowed at school.

Carrying a cell phone at school is both useful and debatable. Parents can find out where their children are, and children can use their phones to access knowledge other than their books.

But allowing cell phones in schools during periods often seems debatable. Cell phones are an easy way to distract your kids in the middle of their class and Cell phones keep students fo- cused and give them something to do during breaks. Advantages and Disadvantages of Cell Phones in Schools explores both sides of the argument.

There are several advantages to using cell phones at school ( Pros). First, students can be reached in case of emergency. Pupils can contact parents in an emergency and vice versa.

This generation of children grew up with bullying especially at school. We are also now liv- ing through a pandemic where schools can raise health and safety concerns. Knowing that you can reach your loved ones in an instant thanks to your cell phone during school hours can feel more important than ever. Next, Mobile phones allow students the opportunity to learn about what is happening beyond their knowledge. Knowledge outside of this book also helps with student assignments. Finally, since cell phones are so widespread these days, many peo- ple use them as an educational tool by searching for something online when it comes up in a discussion.

After hearing so many arguments about cell phones in school, you should be more open- minded to the idea. Also, you should be more concerned about your kids’ well-being. Kids carrying cell phones in school find ways to get distracted by the online world, such as social media. Other than that, you should also consider the following. There is a lot of controversy about the use and presence of cell phones in schools (Cons). Schools and parents are often caught in the situation of why students are allowed or not allowed to bring cell phones to school. First, Cell phones can be a distraction even to teachers and encourage students to cheat in their exams. Cheating or looking up answers online is what students do when they are unsure of themselves. This may help students get better grades but degrade their capabil- ity to learn. Most importantly, it’s against morals. There are also other problems with bring- ing cell phones at school; it will make students’ lives even more stressful by distracting them

while trying to focus on studying. About 72 percent of teens feel the need to immediately re- spond to texts, messages on social networks, and other notifications. This can be enough to distract the students while they are in class and trying to concentrate on one task instead of two different tasks at the same time.

The debate over the pros and cons of cell phones in school is a complex issue with no clear- cut solution. The fact remains that there are many strong arguments against allowing them in school due to negative consequences on academic performance and kids’ online safety con- cerns. These concerns relate to students, staff, and parents.

In contrast, others argue that proponents of these devices see it primarily as an educational tool to improve student engagement during class periods. Both sides offer compelling points about how this device could change education if implemented correctly. Still, opponents be- lieve it will set a bad precedent for future generations who believe they have the right to do whatever they want during school hours
