After hearing so many arguments about cell phones in school, you should be more open- minded to the idea. Also, you should be more concerned about your kids’ well-being. Kids carrying cell phones in school find ways to get distracted by the online world, such as social media. Other than that, you should also consider the following. There is a lot of controversy about the use and presence of cell phones in schools (Cons). Schools and parents are often caught in the situation of why students are allowed or not allowed to bring cell phones to school. This can be enough to distract the students while they are in class and trying to concentrate on one task instead of two different tasks at the same time.

The fact remains that there are many strong arguments against allowing them in school due to negative consequences on academic performance and kids’ online safety con- cerns.
