On November 26, 1953, LG International was an import and export specialty company in the LG Group that opened a new era for chemical and electronics industry in Korea. Since its establishment in November 1953, LGI has been part of the driving force behind guiding South Korea's trade and economic development.
From 1970 to 1980, LGI managed the export and import related activities of the country's major industries. In the 1990s, LGI entered new businesses, such as natural resource development and plant construction. In 2000, LGI decided to invest in similar fields, thus becoming a real specialist in the development of natural resources.
On November 26, 1953, In Hwoi Koo, the founder of LG Group, established Lucky Industry Corporation, a form of corporation, and was the first to take office. The soft coal development project in Australia's Ensham region is one of the most notable examples of its success. Even during the IMF crisis, which was triggered by the successive bankruptcy of leading domestic companies due to default and the radical collapse of the financial market, resulting in catastrophic national defaults, LGI showed its prowess as an international even better.
Moreover, it was recorded as the largest of all the overseas projects done by Korean firms in the year.

To stabilize the supply of petroleum and gas energy, LGI is involved in oil and gas field businesses in Oman, Qatar, Vietnam, Kazakhstan and Chile. Starting with Southeast Asia, the company is expanding to the Middle East and Central Asia and has recently increased its investments in South America. In the Bukha gas field in Oman, the company has continued to produce natural gas since 1997, and since February 2009 it has been producing petroleum in earnest in the West Bukha oil field.
We are expanding our investment portfolio in the Americas, where non-ferrous metal resources are abundant. Our trading business includes the supply of non-ferrous metals domestically and internationally, and at the same time seeks to diversify our business portfolio. Amid the growing demand for non-ferrous metals due to the sophistication of industries, LGI purchases industrial non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, copper, tin and zinc from suppliers worldwide and supplies them to domestic and international industrial manufacturers.
We provide various services focused on automotive design, production facilities and key parts in the automotive field, as well as elevators and building solutions in the field of industrial machinery. In the aviation field, we import Russian-made helicopters and sell them to major domestic government agencies and private operators. We sell various plastic products, such as ordinary plastic resin (PP, PE and PVC) and functional plastic resin (PET and ABS).
We sell them in major global markets and trade with third-party countries. We also trade major petrochemical base products, such as olefins, polyester feedstocks, SM and BTX, with various domestic companies on a long-term basis. LGI acquires, develops and builds various plants, including oil refineries and power generation plants, and engages in private domestic and foreign power generation businesses.
It has secured orders for an oil refinery in Qatar, a gas plant in Iran and polypropylene and aromatics plants in Oman, among others, expanding its manufacturing operations in the Middle East. LGI has continued its power generation business, including fossil fuel-based thermal and hydropower generation in the Middle East and South East Asia. In addition, it continues its renewable energy generation activities such as photovoltaic generation in the United States.

Tax equalization ensures that the tax, company paid, and accounting are the same amount in total and detail. The data in the system is still raw and out of order so I have to process it like converting the USD to IDR and sorting it by month and year. If there is anything, I report it to my manager and he will find the solution.
Income tax 22 is the tax that is charged because the company has bought something, and in this case it is coal. Income tax 23 is taxes imposed on capital gains, the provision of services, or prizes and rewards, and in this case it is the tax that is charged because the company uses a service, such as the Internet or building maintenance. Income tax 26 is the income tax for Korean employees or foreigners, this tax was charged when the company paid salary to the Korean employee.
Finally, income tax 4 paragraph 2 is levied when my company rents out their office space to another company. When doing tax settlement, my manager gave me all the transaction data in 2016 from the system, which is thousand transactions, and from that data, I need to find out which expense is subject to income tax. Sometimes the assistant finance manager would ask me to help her enter loose change and transportation costs into the SAP system.
In addition to the jobs described above, sometimes I was asked by my manager to copy, scan, print or fax a certain document. Once my assistant manager asked me to send tax bill by putting it on a letter and make the address. My manager also asked me to enter basic information such as introduction of coal specifications based on coal certificate.
Also, before my contract expires, my last task is to sort out the document taken by the auditors when they audit the company and then send it back to IndoArsip, which is an archival company. Finally, not only accounting and finance team who asked for my help, but also from Legal. Miss Fian, who is in legal charge, asked me to enter data at the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (ESDM).

Even when I asked my manager if they have anything for me to help with, he either said "later" or "ask someone else if they need your help". Even when he had something for me to help, I just felt like he was doing it just to keep me busy. Once my manager asked me to print and sort a certain document, it took me a while because there are many, after I finished it, I give it to him, but until I resigned, that document was still on his desk, exactly the same when I gave it to him.
This makes me think that he only gave me a job that has no function at all, he gave it to me just to keep me busy and not just once. Many times he asked me to do something that in the end, it lay on his desk untouched.
