WHAT IS MC?
MC (Master of Ceremony) or in Indonesian known as “Pembawa acara”is a profession or skill of someone as someone who guides an event who usually guides an event from start to finish.
There are two examples of MC types that we will discuss, formal and informal MC

FORMAL MC INFORMAL MC

Formal is an MC who guides formal
events. The MC's formal demeanor seems more stiff and relaxed in the text. To
become a formal MC, it is mandatory to master good vocal techniques. Not only is the way of speaking stiff and formal, the MC's way of dressing is also formal.
Official events that can be hosted by a formal MC include weddings, state
ceremonies and other sacred events.
Informal is an MC who guides events that are informal and tend to be relaxed. His demeanor is relaxed and not focused on the text, so the MC is free to improve
himself. In fact, non-formal MCs have to improvise. The language used is language that is not too standard, like everyday
language that follows trends. Events
hosted by non-formal MCs include music
concerts, birthday parties, bazaars and so
