RESEARCH ETHICS STATEMENT
Conflict of Interest
The author declares that the author has no conflict of interest. The author conducts research and compiles research articles under the guidance of Dr. Imam Santosa, M.Sn. as the promoter, Achmad Syarief, MSD. Ph.D. as the first co-promoter, and Dr.
Pribadi Widodo, M.Sn. as a second co-promoter and them as the writing team.
Ethical Approval
This study involved non-clinical humans as research subjects, namely the daughters of Mangkunegara VIII and the courtiers of Pura Mangkunegaran. Researcher has submitted research permits through two official letters from the Head of the Doctoral Program of Visual Arts and Design, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), dated October 10, 2019, number 235/11.C11.5.8/PP/2019 and dated July 5, 2021, number 168/IT1.C03. 5.8 /DA10/2021. The both letters received an answer and permission from the management of Pura Mangkunegaran on October 23, 2019, number 327/H.B/X/2019 and on July 5, 2021, number 396/II.B/X/2021.
Researcher has conveyed honestly and completely the aims and objectives of the research to the families and management of Pura Mangkunegaran. The researcher also asked for permission to interview personally the daughters of Mangkunegara VIII, relatives, and courtiers and reconfirmed the results of the interview with them.
Researcher has also designed research instruments objectively, did not violate scientific research ethics and followed Javanese cultural traditions in collecting data, analyzing, interpreting, and storing confidential information.
Thus, this research ethics statement was made and given, so that it can be used fully.
