ASSESSMENT FINDINGS
Summary of Assessment Report of the RSPO Certification
Based on interviews with the management representative and village chief of Kembiri Village, it was known that there are no new land acquisitions by the company. The company has carried out a survey of the area and submitted a statement that there has never been a dispute over land managed by the villager with PT FLD. In addition, the company has mapped the location of land managed by the local communities that are within the concession area.
Practices maintain soil fertility at, or where possible improve soil fertility to, a level that ensures optimal and sustained yield
Based on a site visit and interviews with harvesters in block J50 TKME and block K12 TRSE, the harvesting process has been in accordance with the harvesting procedures issued by the company. The company also has a complete SOP related to the processing of palm oil in CPO and KP in the palm oil mill contained in SOP No. The agreement regarding the acquisition of FFB with the external party is equally understood by both parties.
This is evidenced by evidence of the formal signing of the FFB stamp duty purchase order and each party retains the copy. Based on the document review and the field visit, it can be concluded that the company has documented, implemented and controlled the procedures. Based on the above documents and field visits, it can be concluded that the company has enriched soil fertility through the use of organic or inorganic fertilizers.
The company has had a soil suitability map report issued by the Plantation Monitoring and Planning Division in 2006, which included a description of soil types, topography, soil structure, drainage condition, soil suitability level and the limiting factor. Based on the site visit the main road or collector road was maintained and drained. Based on the field visit at TKME and TRSE, physically the soil surface is mixed with sand.
Based on document verification, interviews with estate staff and field visits, it can be concluded that the company has established and implemented activities to minimize soil erosion.
Practices maintain the quality and availability of surface and ground water
The company has a wastewater treatment plant to treat process wastewater before it is discharged onto the land where it is applied. All evidence provided and the field visit led the auditor to conclude that the company has had a well water management program in place and has implemented it with periodic monitoring. The company has an IPM program in place that includes plans regarding procedure and local policies.
Through the document verification and the interview with spraying team TKME, the company provided a spraying training that took place on July 10, 2012 in the TKME employee hall. Regarding the reviewed document, the field visit and the interview with the field assistant, it can be concluded that the company has implemented IPM using biological agents. Based on the observation of the document, the company uses five types of herbicides used in operational activities in TKME and TRSE.
The company has documented pesticide toxicity data (LD50) in the monthly pesticide toxicity data sheet. The company has a commitment to examine all operational activities that may cause the health and safety of personnel. Based on the field observation in the area of operation of the mill and the property, the company has implemented risk management in accordance with the identification of the potential risk.
In addition, the company has continuously reported the steering committee of occupational health and safety activities every 3 months to the Social, Manpower and Transmigration Agency in Belitung District, for example the periodical report October - December 2015 was sent on 11 January 2016.

Identification of Findings, Corrective Actions and Observations at ASA-02 Assessment
