Summary of Assessment Report of the RSPO Certification

Topics or materials provided for training based on the realization of the 2022 work plan include training on good agricultural practices (GAP), occupational health and safety (OHS), environmental conservation and other materials related to the RSPO.
The group Internal Control System contains documented policies and procedures for operational management
The document shows that all members who were members of the KKTTPS in 2023, a total of 239 members, received training and for the addition of new members in 2022, before they officially joined, they received some of the same training. Based on this interpretation, it can be concluded that all members attended training and were able to demonstrate their understanding of the RSPO Independent Smallholder Standard, including group management and certification requirements, including understanding of HDI, HCV, environmental protection, worker social welfare and business operations. To ensure that all members have complied with the independent smallholder standard, the co-operative management carried out an internal RSPO audit of the co-operative owners, which was held on the 12th-19th. December 2022 with the result of the audit that there were 4 non-compliances, which were corrected (complyed) on 26 January 2023.
The group has a procedure and system in place for the tracking of FFB
The results of the interviews with ICS show that they are very understanding and aware of the responsibility for the implementation of the plans they are working on. Based on field visits and interviews with members of the group (20 sample members), it is known that smallholder farmers have a fairly good familiarity with RSPO, best management practices, HCV management, and social welfare is quite good. Members can also demonstrate their understanding of certain aspects of the RSPO, such as the implementation of occupational health and safety in the field or best management practices.
Currently, there is no sale of certified products, although the cooperative has a sales procedure that informs that cooperatives can sell certified products physically and on credit in accordance with the provisions of the RSPO certification system.
