PT Putra Bongan Jaya: 2022, due to 4,460 Ha concession not yet acquired by HGU and palm oil factory not yet built. Training and implementation became a major task for both the estate and the palm oil mill. The permit was issued on February 25, 2020, stating that the operational permit for the management of hazardous and toxic waste (B3) for this producer has fulfilled the commitment and effective approval of the approval submitted by the Regent of Langkat Regency, North -Sumatra Province. The certification unit may submit to the Langkat Regency Environmental Service evidence of a letter of recommendation requesting an assessment of the use of waste water from the factory at area code 435.A / Dir.SDM / LNK / VIII / 2019 on August 1, 2019. Then the company can also present a letter of recommendation for approval to conduct an assessment of the use of factory effluent on land of the Environmental Department of Langkat Regency with number DLH-Sekr II/2019 on August 12, 2019, stating that the assessment of the use of factory effluent for land is approved for a period of 1 year.
Until this assessment, however, an assessment of the utilization of the mill waste water on land has not been carried out by the certification body. The certification unit has also submitted documentation for the application for the extension of the recommendation for assessing the use of mill waste water on land to Langkat Regency's environmental service on 14 September 2020 and has received approval for the extension of the recommendation. for assessment of the use of mill waste water on land from Langkat Regency Environmental Service on September 16, 2020 with number 660-834 / DLH LKT / 2020. So it can be explained that the company is currently still in the process of applying for a land application based on the recommendation letter for the extension of the waste water permit with number 660-834/DLH LKT/2020 on 16 September 2020 issued by Langkat Regency Environmental Service and has received approval for the extension of the recommendation for the assessment of the utilization of the Mill's waste water on land (land application) .
Each unit of the company has implemented integrated pest management, biological control and uses only pesticides listed on the government's pesticide website. The company displays a list of the latest updated laws and regulations (year 2021) relevant to PT LNK. The Environmental Assessment Document (DELH) ratified by the head of the Langkat Regency Environmental Agency was legalized under Decree Number SEKRE.II-BLH / Year 2011 dated 3 October 2011.
The scope of this document is the construction of 80 tons/hour FFB located in the Tanjung Keliling property area. Based on the document review, it is known that the environmental documents cover the entire area and operational activities of the company. The evaluation of the managed and social monitoring plan for the PT LNK period was prepared on February 15, 2021 involving internal (employee) and external (village) stakeholders.
A system for managing human resources is in place
Environmental management and monitoring plans are listed in the environmental monitoring and management matrix (in each environmental document). In the Management Plan matrix it is explained about the types of significant impacts, sources of impact, location, time period, etc. There are results of environmental monitoring and measurement that exceeded the quality threshold, namely the noise level in the machine room of Tanjung Keliling POM is 96.5 dB (exceeds the threshold of 85 dB).
Based on this, the company has shown the results of its assessments, namely the mandatory use of the ear and has a service schedule and regular oil change in the generator engine. The certification unit also documented the data of the meetings involving 125 participants, consisting of Tanjung Beringin Village, Padang Brahrang, Padang Cermin, Tanjung Keliling, Lapas Sei, Maryke, Gelugur Langkat, Tirange, Tanjung Keliling Plantation Village, Bukit Lawang Plantation Su Village , Mumberlyo Plantation Village, Situngkit Village Gergas Village and Gohor Lama Village. The company has compiled a social impact management plan listed in the management plan and social monitoring is carried out based on participants from the surrounding community.
Based on the result of the evaluation, it is known that the impact that arises, for example, with regard to the deliberation on the development plan involving surrounding villages, such as: Bukit Lawang Village, Samperaya Village, Minta Kasih Village and Naman Jahe Village. Based on interviews with representatives of Bekiun and Kutambaru Villages, it is known that the social impacts of business activities have been included in the SIA identification carried out by companies, such as CSR, village development planning involving companies and environmental development issues. The company displays the personnel appraisal form for harvest employees on behalf of HM on January 31, 2021.
The company has an occupational safety and health group that meets monthly to discuss occupational safety and health on the property and plant. Socialization of waste disposal in residential areas on 24 October 2020 at Tanjung Keliling Estate for 29 employees at Tanjung Keliling Estate. On 29 May 2021, the company conducted SCCS training for responsible personnel at Tanjung Keliling POM, which was attended by 7 participants.

From the results of interviews with representatives of Bekiun and Kutambaru villages, it is known that there is no conflict between the company and the village. The company has had a Plantation Business Permit (for properties) dated October 4, 2016 and an Industrial Business Permit (for Mill) dated August 6, 2019 issued by the government body for single online submission (OSS). Based on the results of interviews with female workers and management of the gender committee, it is known that the company has implemented the policy.
From the results of interviews with representatives of the gender commission and female employees, it is known that the company has given permission to leave H1 (menstruation) and H2 (maternity) as a form of protection for reproductive rights. Based on the analysis of owl monitoring and beneficial plant planting documents, it is known that the company does not use invasive species for biological pest control. Based on the document, it is known that there are 15 types of registered pesticides used by the company.
The company showed documents on pesticide use in the last 3 years for each estate. Based on the results of interviews with company management, it is known that the company does not approve the use of pesticides to control plant-disturbing organisms. Based on the results of interviews and field observations in each estate, it is known that the company does not conduct airborne pesticide application activities.
The results of the field visits also show that the company has handled household waste and hazardous waste quite well. Based on the results of the field visit, it is known that there are no peat areas in the area managed by the company. On the basis of the results of interviews with DLH, information was obtained that the company had managed the river bank correctly and in accordance with the recommendations from the results of the HCV study.
The company has maximized the use of renewable energy (fiber and shells) as boiler fuel. Currently, the company is awaiting the approval of the Tanjung Keliling POM Land Application.
