Example 1

A sewerage system plan as below is proposed for a development of the petrol station with 6 unit toilets. Design the sewerage reticulation system using new vitrified clay sewer.

Consider:

Sewer diameter = 225 mm Ground level = 24.200 m Slope gradient of 1: 150 Upper invert level = 23.088 m

6e. Lower invert level = Upper invert level – fall = 23.038 m GL = 24.200m
