The obituary· committee have looked over the letters from the churches and found that rhirty-four persons ha.ve passed away from earth to their eternal reward. We cannot speak of them all in particu- lar, but would simply make special mention of Rev. F. E. Wright, Pastor of the St. Juhus ehurch, of WhOlll IllOS~ have read in the Chris- tian Herald. Also Rev. E. M. Ney, of Perry, who died at the advanced age of ninety-one years. Rev. E. 1\1. N ey had, in hi8 younger years served many churches acceptably as pastor. He was a true Christian, faiLhful to the church, strong in faith, delighting in the service of God.
In the death of Mro. McDonald, of Williamston, beloyed wife of Pastor McDonald, the association, as well as the local church, has suffered a great loss.
It is proper and Christian to cherish lovingly the memory of those, our
fellow-worker~, Who have preceded us into Glory, and who await us on
the other shore. It is wri tten in the Word, "Precious in the sigh t of the Lord is the death of his Saints." While we weep with those who weep for their loved ones, yet it is not as those who have no hope, but as those Who look forward to a glorious immortality.

Resolved, 4.-That. we believe the traffic in intoxicating liquors is a grievous sin, and that to share in the profits of the business renders society in partnership with the iniquity; and that it is the duty of every Christian voter to presistently demand that all laws that legalize the traffic be repealed, and that the sanction of the law be no longer given to the accursed business.
